socalMAN123 Posted May 20, 2005 Posted May 20, 2005 Wow, there is so many ways that this site is cool! -The people are actually nice to me (unlike rollercoasterpro.com which I got banned for no reason) -The videos give me my daily dose of laughter -Robb and Elissa rock! SO, those are my reasons why I love this site! ---Brent 8)
SonOfBeastSucks Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 TPR is awesome! These are the only forums I am apart of now and the whole website is fun and easy to use.
Pelydr Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 they make me laugh...really, thats all i care about.
andrea Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 I like tpr because of all the very nice people that I get to chat with and the forums and vids and pics and everything else.TPR RULES
Nrthwnd Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Before TPR, I was a lost soul wandering the desert of the internet looking for that one thing, that group of people, that community... ~~~ ...aw crap, what-ev-er! The videos, the captions, the near-flames, the lockdowns, the goofy pix, the great photos, good chats, accessability to anything and everything that is 'coaster'.... other than live porn . Rage on, TPR! Free stickys for everybody!!!
M_Force_4_ever Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 well I love TPR because its more relaxed then most other fourms, Everybody gets along well enough. oh and the fact a bunch of member post the same thing in the juggalo threads and the videos are great
PhishyBrewer Posted October 4, 2005 Author Posted October 4, 2005 Yeah! I like to see happy thoughts! Is that so wrong? :?
Louise Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Wally's having a BUMPFEST!! Most boards have neither great admins or great posters... A few sites have one or the other, but this is one of very few sites I know of that have both. R & E do a great job running the site, and as a general rule everyone here is respectful of each other, gets the banter, and just enjoy being here! Like Soren said however many months ago, there's so much diversity here, different ages and countries... but it works! I think the key to it all is the sense of humour. This site doesn't take itself too seriously. Which is awesome!
PhishyBrewer Posted October 4, 2005 Author Posted October 4, 2005 Wally's having a BUMPFEST!! Only 2 bumps. That's all. I promise I won't do it again... for a couple months
moinab Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Well, most of it has been said already, but here are my reasons: -Love, love, love the photo TRs and videos! -Love the sense of humor. -Love the multicultural, multigenerational, international community. -Love the mutual respect displayed in the forums. -Love the requirement for reasonably proper grammar! -Love that you don't have to be a coaster enthusiast, per se, to participate -Love Soren's random photo TRs. -Love living vicariously through others' trips. -Love the rodents!
robbalvey Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Wally's having a BUMPFEST!! Where do I sign up for one of those? --Robb "Bump...Bump...Bump..." Alvey
ShoubraStreet74 Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 This is the site that I spend about 65% of my online time on. Why? I don't know. There has always been something interesting about the forums, videos, pics, and friendly atmosphere that keeps me constantly checking in with this site.
coasterguy618 Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 I'm here because I like the sense of humor, and i think TPR has the best forums.
mark.w Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 I'm a newbie. This forums seems to have some interesting topics though.
nyanko Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 When I am the biggest a**hole on the board, you know it can't be that bad. I think I might have replaced you!
moinab Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Wally's having a BUMPFEST!! Where do I sign up for one of those? --Robb "Bump...Bump...Bump..." Alvey Ah! The theme for the next TPR meet!
chauncey Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 The videos, and, trip reports, and, um, that's it, frankly. It's why I came here, and why I eventually registered, and why I stick around. I still need to order those DVDs, though...
