SharkTums
Robb just sent this link to me! This is really creepy! http://home.f01.itscom.net/spiral/t_rando/t_rando1.html Anyone translate the page to see what they're talking about? Elissa "it's so rusty!" zaneymon
That is scary it kind of reminds me of the movie Sprited Away Zane "We had to watch it in Japanese" Williams
alpengeistdude321
^You saw Spirited Away also? That was the most f*cking odd movie I've ever seen. The coaster looks pretty fun although it looks so damn creepy in the fog and it's all rusted.
Canobie Fan
lol.. I like that movie.... I think that wheel looks way more creepy then the coaster Looking around on other parts of that site they seem to have "comeing soon" 3 or 4 MORE parks... http://home.f01.itscom.net/spiral/NewFiles/haino40.jpg http://home.f01.itscom.net/spiral/NewFiles/haino25.jpg http://home.f01.itscom.net/spiral/yuuen/yuuen01.html (still open) http://home.f01.itscom.net/spiral/ainori/ainori01.html (water park)

stew560
I love babelfish... 2 hours waiting in the funny vehicle, it rides it is good however,Pulling out the power of the shoulder, while eating even in the software cream, you think that also the recreational area where it waits is good but it is. btw - Robb...nice find! Elissa, thanks for sharing! I love this crap! This one: http://home.f01.itscom.net/spiral/yuuen/yuuen01.html (not still open) is the best with the before and after pics... This one: http://home.f01.itscom.net/spiral/doriran/doriran01.html is cool too with all the monorail pics... (Is that an Intamin 1st Gen Drop 6pics down?) kenshinmac
OMG... Has anyone played Silent Hill 3... Does that first park just scream silent hill or what? Yikes... Seriously to think that stuff like that really exists just kinda makes my skin crawl. BTW if you haven't played any of the Silent Hill games try them out. They will seriously mess with your mind. Especially if you are alone.
Angry_Gumball
This shot reminds me of No Limits set on the Heavy Fog environment (see below). These recent abandoned amusement park findings gave me a new idea for a scenario for RCT3: Rebuild a broken down park using existing half constructed coasters to complete the park. Too bad I didn't spot any engrish. *provided that I can pull off a pumpless track BTW: this is a sneak peak of my next coaster project* (see footnote above)

FlyingScooter
I liked Spirited Away. Here's another good site for dead parks: (and stuff) www.forgottenoh.com looked like it was a fun park,,,, yeah, i had the same thought about Silent Hill... Looks like Chippewa lake, only more recently abandoned. Anyone think the same might happen to Joypolis (Sega Corps park)?
robbeal
That looks so spooky with all the fog. It would make a nice set for a thriller film. Be cool to just wander around the place too, just to see it all.
Movieguy
Interesting...it looks a lot like one of the places where they shot the Japanese movie Kamen Rider Faiz: Paradise lost. An abandoned park was the home of the human liberation army.

Homer
Theres too many Schwarzkopf's dying... I know, as other enthusiasts, sad to see some of the worlds most insane compact rides go to crap.
Coasterlicious
Anyways that is freaky but sad in a way.. The coasters are just like being waisted

I do beleive that on the orginal RCT the Corkscrew Follies add on they had one of those, it was really weird but kinda fun.
Jose Eber
It would be pretty crazy to use the whole 'abandoned' coaster as a theme for a new ride. Give it a nice rusted paint job . . .
pgathriller
That coaster looks so cool. Imagine if the coaster was still running? The fog and foilage would be the perfect scenery and the rusted track gives it more of an effect. The other ride looks creepy too because it has so much color and it is next to the roller coaster which has no color. Does anybody know any information about this park? Does anybody know what type of roller coasters they were or what type of rides the other ones are?

CstrzRock
The first link that was given was to pictures of the "Tsuga Recreational Area" which opened in 1973. I don't know when it closed.
