Thanks everyone, I'm feeling the love Maverick has been my top coaster since 2008 so when I saw that I was assigned to it, I may or may not have squealed with joy. I'm super excited for this summer and can't wait to meet other TPR members who work at CP!

Valravn might just be the most aesthetically pleasing coaster at CP now! Especially if they give it an awesome lighting package!

Raptor, the lightsaber is amazing but those orange lights along the course have to go. If they replaced them with the same lights Gatekeeper had that midway would look insane at night.

All other aside, if you look at the webcam you can see in the middle, near the station, a wooden building going up. I think this is the Photo/Souvenir building. (Please correct if wrong)

Am i mistaken or is there a structure going up near Blue Streak? The Sandusky Register had an article recently about the station being castle themed but it looked very modern in the POV & Birdseye videos. Maybe there is something we are missing here?

 

Valravn's station and merchandise shop are going to be castle theme. The building you see going up are the photo and merchandise.

It does look great but I don´t think anything will ever top Gatekeeper. That ride is absolutely stunning. And Raptor! That ride is STRIKING (too soon?)

Mean Streak looks good cause it´s massive. But not as good as Gatekeeper, Maverick, Top Thrill, Valravn, etc. Difference of opinion, I guess.

It's almost there!!! ... it's been interesting to watch them maneuver the MCBR between all the supports, and track!

Major respect for the way they just maneuvered that MCBR in there, that was crazy and very interesting to watch. Wish all parks would cover their coasters construction like CP/Cedar fair usually does b/c this never gets old to me.

It will be interesting to see how fast the rest of the coaster goes up. It seems like the supports for the remaining portion of the ride are pretty vanilla (i.e. self supporting, not requiring a crane to hold the support while the new piece is lifted).

Exactly, I don't think there will be another "slow point" per say. I actually think they might install some more break run track today (possibly) as they have it laying on the right-hand side of the Webcam.

I doubt we will see any brake run installation today. They still need to attach the catwalks and such, and that usually takes them an entire day.

It would also be interesting to see how fast the Legendary Boat of Happiness and Fun comes back.

 

I think they would start adding the brake run soon. But since they just put the MCBR down, I don't think it'll be happening next.

 

Also, I think they would put in the two inversions last, for some reason.
