RCT3Bross Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Those pictures are great with the background sky. About the theming I think the ride looks great so far. The hill themed station looks awesome.
rcjp Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Wow the theming is looking great! I have high hopes on this ride when it comes to forces, I expect it to be more intense than the other wing coasters (which isn't really hard).
_koppen Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Wow the theming is looking great! I have high hopes on this ride when it comes to forces, I expect it to be more intense than the other wing coasters (which isn't really hard). Don't set yourself up for disappointment! It's much better to be surprised. I expect this ride to be same in intensity as the other wing riders, only with a much more interesting layout, as well as really good interaction with the surrounding elements.
LukasCoaster97 Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 I can already imagine how great it will look with a lot of pine trees around. Thank you Heide - Park and B&M for building a wing coaster only 2 hours away from my home.
RCT3Bross Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 That queue is really close to the coaster, I really like those queues. Really looking forward to ride this in 2014.
BDG Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 The name has been confirmed to be "Flug der Dämonen". That's German for "Flight of the Demons". source: Heide-Park / www.heide-park.de
RCT3Bross Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Have to say the extra Flug der could have been left out if you ask me. Dämonen or Dämon would also sound great. Anyway I expected it would come out with Dämon in it, great name for a great looking ride. Can't wait to ride it.
SharkTums Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 When is TPR doing a Germany trip again? I think 2015!!!
A.J. Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 So, it's like The Swarm, but with demons, and a more interesting-looking layout. Okay.
SuperShawn Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 When is TPR doing a Germany trip again? I think 2015!!! Damn it, now Ill have to choose between Mexico and Germany. That won't be easy.
gerstlaueringvar Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 When is TPR doing a Germany trip again? I think 2015!!! Damn it, now Ill have to choose between Mexico and Germany. That won't be easy. Grab Hansa's new hyper and Medusa together in one yearwith GeForce, Europa Park and a bunch of Uncle Anton goodness... I guess I'll broke because I really want to take both How about a combo from Mexico to Europe?
Jon Sabo Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 This looks like the storyline video of the ride. Interesting (I am really rusty on the German-English translation..lol) Link:
Nrthwnd Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 When is TPR doing a Germany trip again? I think 2015!!! Damn it, now Ill have to choose between Mexico and Germany. That won't be easy. David and I have pushed and pushed back an Amsterdam-Paris-DisneyParis trip for a few years now, and we were (now) definitely planning for Sept.2015, so this is going to be a real financial challange to me. Mexico was definite, but the rest of the 2015 tour season may be a no-go. Which is fine. Still.

rcjp Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Found this picture on coasterfriends showing the landscape with and without the ride. Oh, and krake wasn't there too.
apanbl92 Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 The park just released a video of the coaster testing! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSEre3m4Le0
RCT3Bross Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 That hill doesn't look to great afterall. For the rest it's like all other wingedcoasters to me. Anyway still exited to ride it in June.
gerstlaueringvar Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 (edited) I was hoping for an eagle but it looks like a butterfly although the wheels are different Can't wait to hear the reviews of it soon. Edited January 13, 2014 by gerstlaueringvar
jmicha Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Although I wouldn't expect a super intense ride as none of the wing riders have been at all aggressive, I also wouldn't take that video as indicative of what the pacing will be like. It's an early test run with a nearly empty train so it is likely a bit slower through the course than it will be when open to the public.
BDG Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 The park just released a video of the coaster testing! That's a fan-made version. Here's the original:
DJeXeL Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Looks like there's some airtime to be had at 1:05 but this is a B&M we are talking about. Great to see testing however.
