Sgt. Fox Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 I'm an Attorney. More specifically, I do lawyer regulation and discipline for the State Bar. I'm the guy that takes away other attorneys' law licenses for misconduct.
CoasterDude211 Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 Right now I work at my local mall Chick-fil-A but I recently picked up a second job at a Dental office. I will be starting this week and will assist, take X-rays, run tests, and do some basic computer work. It should be an interesting learning experience.
gnewton34 Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 I start my new job soon. I will be working as an ICU nurse.

bspellx5 Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 I just got another job, this time at Staples, I'm going for orientation tomorrow to learn how to use the cash register [which I already know how to do seeing as I worked at Five Guys for a bit]. It looks like it will be fairly easy-going though, I mean theres always more employees than customers in that store. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that theres a Wal Mart Supercenter right next door about 500 feet away...
Homer Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 I still work at Sweetbay Supermarket, which is Florida's second best supermarket. However, a few weeks ago, I went from bagger to produce. Thank God... I don't have to get carts in at 95 degree heat and humidity.
easytoremember Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 I scoop ice cream. Any other Brusters scoopers in the crowd here?
TheBannedKid Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Engineering intern at Technicolor on the lot of Universal Hollywood. I also am a seasonal CM at Disneyland Resort in DCA.
tnguy Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 I still work at Sweetbay Supermarket, which is Florida's second best supermarket. I also work in a supermarket. I'm a night stocker at a Food City store here in Tennessee.
ash.1111 Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 I am a waiter at Sizzler... Hopefully one day I'll be a cop though
Wood Dragon 1988 Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 I work two jobs now: I am an intern for the federal government working on a Navy Base in Maryland. Pretty much the most boring job imaginable. I also work at a grocery store (Safeway). I've been there a year and a half, and also have had a Homer-like career there (first a bagger, then a Produce Clerk)
verticalzero Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Got a new job, start on Monday 16th June as a 1st line Tech Support Advisor for Fijitsu
allisonLOVEsTPR Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 I am a sweeper at the Disneyland Resort. DCA and Downtown Disney specifically. Its not as cool as an attractions person, people give me dirty looks all day, and I clean up vomit.. but people really do appreciate it. Everyone always comments that Disney parks are very clean. It is my first job. I like it really, I get to walk around and talk with people all day. I've been there for a year on July 6th, and I almost didn't make it that far but as long as I go to work every day until next March I will be ok! I mostly work so I can pay for Tpr trips. I am also hoping to transfer from my current position to a Guest Relations position because I like the costume, and because I enjoy angry guests more than cleaning pee off Maliboomer. I have already tried to leave but that didn't workout , I'm too young is what I was told. Anyway I hope to be in any type of better position, not be stuck in the same place for a long time, and to be at DCA to see all the changes that will be made. It is really a fun place to work.
HAYASHI Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 I am an architectural designer at an arch. firm in downtown LA www.graftlab.com in addition, i work part time at two bars, Tin Lizzie Saloon and Detroit Bar both in Costa Mesa, CA.
Bucket Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 I just got hired as a barista at Starbucks! Not the greatest job (nor the greatest coffee for that matter) but the tips that I make there are great for poor college students like me!
astroworldfan1 Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 I'm a Bus Boy at my Dad's resturant. It's a pretty easy job. Get drink orders, bring them to the customer, clean up tables, make money. Really simple! -Tatum
astroworldfan1 Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 ^ I like Chick-Fil-A. The food there is good. But, I can understand your problems in the food service industry. -Tatum
Wood Dragon 1988 Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 The service at Chick Fil A is pretty much outstanding wherever I go. But after working "retail" for two years I feel extremely sorry for fast food workers.
coasterfreak101 Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 Checker (cashier) at Safeway. Quite the repetitive job, but at least I get to talk to people.
Bolliger&Mabillard Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 Unemployed...I got laid off at Target. Before that I worked at SFMM.
