  1. ^At last some station for Geforce! Sky Scream's theming already looks nice so it's great to know they still have something to do.
  2. Wow 14 times on expedition geforce!
  3. ^But launching a lighter train is cheaper, right?
  4. ^Oh, I see. I didn't realise this could just eb the old car with the centre seats only.
  5. ^I also take as little as possible and were either shorts or trousers with plenty of zippier pockets. However, I usually also have to take a bag pack as some coasters will crush anything I have on my pockets.
  6. Interesting. Well, if it works it's better than nothing. (maybe they could have tried three seats?)
  7. Interesting. I didn't know vekoma was still building this layout of SLC. When had the last one been built?
  8. Nice! Just one thing: I know this isn't a big deal but why do almost all of the B&Ms which have a lift with catwalks on only one side have that netting? Will you be able to go under Fury's lift? If not it doesn't make much sense, right? It doesn't make a huge difference but I would rather not have them when I am riding on that side of the car and look down.
  9. All I can think of is I've ridden 100% of the strata coasters. (there are so many....)
  10. False. I only have one CP t shirt (which happens to have gatekeeper ion it) The person below me dislikes standups.
  11. Khan! Vekoma loop screw
  12. ^I haven't ridden any of those but most +people here will find it surprising that you ranked Goliath ahead of geforce. What was it that you enjoyed so much on Goliath?
  13. ^Premier was also my first thought. And the colour seems to match.
  14. ^I think B&M's new vest restraints would do. That would eliminate headbanging. Combined with their now less intense layouts (which is actually good for standups, reducing the pressure on your legs) it would be great.
  15. Of course. The person below me has not ridden a megalite.
  16. ^Nice to hear. It would be too bad if nothing could be done to solve an issue like this on a brand new ride.
  17. I haven't ridden so I can't comment individually but this resonates for me. I think B&M are letting parks dictate terms slightly more than they were maybe 6 or 7 years ago so you will see some bigger/more forceful rides but I think most parks know that Intamin are more comfortable pushing the envelope so will naturally go towards them for the more intense rides that enthusiasts seem to prefer. We know that they must (or should) be comfortable making rides as intense as their earlier ones given that they were back then (when they were new), right? That's what I never understood about B&M either. It's almost like they made the first few intense coasters by accident, then said "Sorry folks! We didn't mean to do that; here's a new batch of coasters that are nice and tame for all you GP who will be scared off by something truly intense. But don't worry, you guys running the parks can still market these things as intense, as they still look super intimidating from the ground" In all seriousness though, I really don't see why they didn't just start building family coasters sooner, and keep their large, intense rides cranked up to 11 like they started out with? Exactly! I mean, I don't think they started building less intense rides because parks said: "hey, calm down, we don't was rides this crazy". Because then intamin would have been in the same situation. It's not like older B&Ms were more intense than some intmains. You would think it would be the other way round: a new company starts building tame rides and then as they gain confidence and experience they start pushing the envelope, not like B&M. Isn't there any park that will contact B&M and say: "We want a ride like your older ones: fast and intense"? (because I doubt they would say no)
  18. Russian one: looks like it pulls a lot of Gs on the loop and it's funny how on the second time it goes forwards it's not far from stalling at the top of the loop. Second one: those airtime hills look pretty insane on the forwards run and, once gain, the loop looks pretty forceful. Then I wonder how it loses so much speed even with that "push" on the weird upside down spike.
  19. ^^That picture of nemesis looks really cool! Too bad the pain is already pretty old.
  20. ^True. Riding coasters may mostly be an individual experience but not entirely. If not we wouldn't find it more fun to ride with friends than with complete strangers. And I prefer to ride with strangers than alone. I think that as we (enthusiasts) are more "comfortable" riding coasters we can pay more attention to some details most people don't because they are not as used to these rides. Some of those details (at least in my case) are the reactions of the other riders. I remember finding it extremely fun to ride furius baco in the back with lots of friends in the other rows because I could see how each one was doing, if they had their hands up,...
  21. Yes it does look really fast. I would be extremely annoyed if someone made me slow down. But then it wasn't all her fault as you could see there were one or two cars right in front of her at some points.
  22. 1999. Interestingly enough, it appears to be the best standup (Georgia scorcher)
  23. ^Now that would be pretty bad with coasters like a blue fire clone and a GIB.
  24. Indiana Jones' loop at Disneyland Paris is extremely fast and forceful. Definitely the best part of the ride.
