  1. I agree with LR. Honestly, I didn't find it as smooth or a good as most people here do but I still think it's just fine and there would be no need to touch it.
  2. ^Oh yeah Like some have already said, I don't think it will ever disappear as you just can't beat that good old design of inversion. They're really cool elements, especially when they're huge like on plenty of B&Ms and rides like yolocoaster.
  3. ^Wow 2020! That's great to hear and really nice for RMC. Thanks for the pictures.
  4. Well, X-Flight was in the $12-15 million range and SFMM's recent major additions have been in the $6-10 million range, so I'll let you make the call. I will say that Six Flags corporate seems pretty reluctant to spend more than $10 million on any park in a given year and has said that $20+ million coasters are a thing of the past. Yeah, that's right. Of course you can get good cheap coasters but once in a while (and given that they like records, even though gimmicky) you'll have to spend a bit more. I think this behaviour of theirs is fairly silly.
  5. ^I know it's horrible but I would actually like to give it a try (as I would with all these awful coasters) just to see how bad it really is.
  6. ^I think considering a ride like X-Flight a bit of a stretch is too much, no? Come on! That's a "small" ride! (or is SFMM really that low?)
  7. ^True. With only two more big supports it will look really sweet!
  8. ^Nice! I see they've already put the bottom of the drop in place (like they did with leviathan).
  9. ^Interesting that you can do bungee jumping in the park. I wish more would have that.
  10. I'm yet to ride one of these but perhaps I will do Saw next year which is the one I find the most interesting (even though it might be rough) as the pacing looks great (especially that bit after the MCBR).
  11. ^It looks like quite a few people here share that opinion . . . (not that I'm one of them) So while I would call it weird, it's not that uncommon.
  12. ^How lucky! I would love to drive a supercar like that (even though I've only had my license for a few months).
  13. The first time is fine but yeah, on the second they go really slow. But these things will always happen with shuttle coasters. They would have to make it go even faster through the loop to make it go over the cobra roll at a normal speed, which would probably mean the Gs would be too high.
  14. The loop entry is so abrupt! Someone pointed out on the comments section that you can see one of the running wheels lift of the track a bit on that nasty "twist" and then hit it really hard as the track bends upwards.
  15. ^I think B&M's lap bars are some of the best around due to the comfort and freedom they give. The only thing I'm not a fan of is how the seats are fairly reclined and you kind of "sink" into them.
  16. True. The only skyloop I've ridden was the extended one (abismo in Madrid) and I did find the drop + sort of banked immelmann combo pretty forceful as it gave me a slight grey out a few times.
  17. For some reason I love how zero g rolls look from this angle! Oh, and I've said this plenty of times but that Immelmann really looks huge.
  18. ^LOL About raptor, I wonder how often it valleys given how slowly it enters the MCBR even with a full train on a normal day.
  19. Like you later said, I guess that (based on the footers and look of the ground below) it is supposed to get water. Now these were my favourites: This one beats everything, though Great report!
  20. Smiler has had lift hill evacuations since it opened even with the new magnetic anti roll back system it uses so it is still possible that it may happen. Either way though I don't like vast amounts of stairs so climbing up or down them doesn't appeal to me in the slightest How? Shouldn't it roll back slowly to the bottom?
