  1. Correcting myself: the new Premier trains on Goliath at SFNE. I've never been so hurt by a single ride in my life. I was in so much pain that I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to walk off without assistance. I truly believe that I was injured by the ride, as my back has never been the same since.
  2. ^ Well, when you put a stand-up train on a mine train...
  3. Not from the greatest camera in the world, but this is one of my favorite shots. I took it on the TPR Mexico tour last March; some of our crew on Tornado at Selva Magica. What a great ride.
  4. They both have Schwarzkopf coasters. Six Flags over Texas and Michigan's Adventure
  5. I agree with it being a fad. I just think how some of the older models aged has left a stigma on the genre as a whole. You have ones like the Vortexes and Green Lantern that beat the daylights out of you, whereas Georgia Scorcher is one of the smoothest coasters I've ever ridden. I'd be curious to see what a new B&M stand up would be like now, 15 years since the last one was built.
  6. Glad to see this addition. Planet Snoopy needed something new.
  7. ^ Bill, you have a perfect number of credits for Halloween!
  8. ^^ I agree with HyperSonic. It's still one of the absolute worst rides I've ever been on. The horrible restraints, terrible drop, and the screeching brakes made it a horrible experience.
  9. Riding Son of Beast with the Gerstlauer trains.
  10. I love both, but B&M slightly edges above Intamin for me. I simply love their work, even the newer "forceless" rides.
  11. ^ Probably shouldn't need one. Crowds should be light.
  12. ^ That's an amazing picture, Robb. Thanks for sharing!
  13. I was almost in shock by the metal detectors here. I couldn't believe that they were just sitting under a tent.
  14. When I took my very last ride on Big Bad Wolf.
  15. ^ Was there another Ninja at SFOG? Because I certainly don't remember it being a terrain coaster.
  16. Definitely the entirety of Maelstrom. I mean, it had to have been VERY intense and greyed me out something fierce. I couldn't see a damn thing the entire ride!
  17. Cedar Point hands down. Don't get me wrong, WDW is fantastic and I loved my visit there. However, I get more bang for my buck at Cedar Point. I really only enjoy a handful of attractions across all of the WDW parks. Plus, I don't have to get on a plane full of stupid kids to get there.
  18. I'll jump on the Corkscrew wagon. Out of all of Cedar Point's family coasters, I've always noticed it to have the lowest number of riders. Plus, it's terrible. They could put in a much better family friendly looping coaster with similar aesthetics.
  19. I went fairly recently, so someone else can have a go!
  20. ^ I have that shirt! A friend of mine bought it for me for Christmas last year.
  21. ^ Arrow train cars are very expensive. It will cost tens of thousands of dollars if it still runs. The only place I've ever seen a wheel available is at a TPR bash. I've got a track bolt and an anchor bolt nut from Leviathan that I received during Leviathan Bash in 2012. I still display them proudly.
  22. Phantom's Revenge - hands down. At night, it's incredible. Going down that second drop into pitch black darkness as you feel the temperature drop is nothing short of amazing.
  23. To be fair...it was a half decent coaster at Dorney.
