Even if there was something else back there it wouldn't be as bad. There's no reason to walk all the way back there just for Batwing. I always thought a Gotham themed El Loco would be great in that empty field.
After spending two days setting up and configuring the new computer in our office, our specialty software goes corrupt. So, now I have to completely reinstall and reconfigure said software as well as do my normal job. Yay...
Yes and no. There's a "dry" path that leads back there, but the water park is on both sides of you. If you don't know where you're going, it's easy to stray into the water park by accident.
Honestly, they could really improve the place if they scrapped Batwing, spruced up Gotham City, and then added a great coaster and a collection of flats behind Superman in Batwing's spot and that empty field.
It's been my experience that parks put them up for a reason. For example, Kennywood surprises many people for having metal detectors. Back in the late 80's, there was a stabbing in the park because of a gang fight (Kennywood was pretty seedy in those days). They put up metal detectors to prevent another incident like this from happening again.
I agree. It's super easy to get lost trying to get back there, even with a park map. Plus, they even had the gates open to the water park (even though it hadn't opened yet), and I walked inside by accident (and was promptly screamed at by a life guard).
I've always gotten great floater air on GASM, especially in the back. I do agree that the brakes are too strong, but once you ride it, you can easily brace yourself on future rides.
