  1. A wooden coaster that many enthusiasts haven't ridden. It may not be much to look at, but it's a still fun ride. You probably haven't ridden this coaster, but I have!
  2. I like a combination of both, but what brings me back to the park is their ride lineup. I'll visit any park once to see it and ride everything, but a crappy park with a killer ride lineup is much more likely to bring me back than a nice looking park with mediocre rides. For example, Dollywood and BGW are both gorgeous parks, but I'll visit BGW over Dollywood because of their rides. As weird as it may seem, I have a much stronger desire to visit Six Flags Magic Mountain than I do Dollywood just because of the coaster lineup.
  3. Journey to Atlantis - SeaWorld Orlando
  4. Seriously, I'm trying to contain my laughter here at work! This is absolutely brilliant, and it's very true.
  5. I just deal with the cold. It's my preferred weather. I remember being at Hersheypark one October and it was snowing (everything was open, too!) However, I do have a few fun stories about cold weather trips to Florida. I remember being at Universal in January 2012, and it was 21 degrees outside. By the time the park opened, it was in the high 30's or so. Thankfully, it did warm up enough to open pretty much everything but H:RRR. My mom and I rode Jurassic Park when it was 42 degrees outside. No shame. This year, I went to WDW in January and the weather was pleasant....except for one day. It wasn't exceptionally cold like my last visit, but it was 45 degrees and wet. It was my Animal Kingdom day, and it was very disappointing. Luckily, the Magic Kingdom was dead and I got TONS of rides in.
  6. Don't worry about me. I went to college in Southern WV and our school was filled with religious nut jobs. I know how to handle myself around those people. In reality, I probably wouldn't even bother going because it's not like Cliffhanger will reopen anyway.
  7. in the small chance that Cliffhanger DOES reopen, maybe I'll visit with a big "ATHEIST" shirt just to see what happens. After I get my coaster credit, of course.
  8. Great Bear - Hersheypark
  9. Both are defunct indoor coasters. Waldameer and Kings Island
  10. At SFOT, they start to close rides at about 40-45 degrees (which is typical). When I was there last December, Titan seemed to be the first to close. Of course, they did reopen it once it was warm enough (it was never closed long). I don't think anything else ever closed.
  11. Cobra Rolls seem to be a magnet for valleying. Fahrenheit vallyed in its cobra roll on its opening day. Talk about a bad start!
  12. ^ I don't know about you, but I prefer to not be proselytized on coasters.
  13. A lovely photo I took with my iPhone camera. Yes, it's Apocalypse. Deal with it.
  14. That's amazing! I know when I'm going to Disney next!
  15. They both have that sidewinder inversion. Port Aventura and Silver Dollar City
  16. Awesome TR, Robb! Are the crowds always this low during the Christmas Party?
  17. I don't really drink either as I'm not a soda person. However, I do prefer the non-carbonated soft drinks in the Coke Freestyle machines! Raspberry Hi-C = Heaven.
  18. 1. How do you most often watch videos? (DVD, Blu-Ray, Digital Download, Streaming.) Streaming 2. What streaming services do you use the most? Netflix 3. How many DVDs or Blu-Rays do you buy a year on average? One, if that. 4. Do you use a device like Apple TV, Roku, or Chromecast? I use my Apple TV a few times a week to watch for a few hours at a time. 5. How much do you watch videos on YouTube versus all the mediums listed in the poll? Much less. I rarely go to YouTube anymore.
  19. ^ That's...the perfect explanation. I'll have to steal that from you. I was surprised by ALL of the Zamperla coasters at Coney Island. They all ran better than the others I've ridden. Great TR!
  20. Dare Devil Dive - Six Flags over Georgia
  21. Both have Zierer family coasters. Great Escape and Cedar Point
  22. False? (I don't think I've ever seen a coaster eat cereal) The person below me didn't want to go to school or work today.
