  1. Such a classy Kennywood shirt! Definitely one of the best I've seen from there. It's a shame the park isn't as nice as it used to be.
  2. ^ Shows you how much Parques Reunidos cares about the old Kennywood Entertainment parks.
  3. I think that Toy Story hotel is really ugly. It looks like a warehouse with clouds painted on the walls.
  4. No. Don't really want to, either. Have you traveled to both hemispheres?
  5. ^ That was literally the only episode I watched. The whole time I kept saying "Anyone with a virtual queue can do that 'challenge.'" I forget was the name of the "challenge" was, but it was completely made up for him and the stupid show. I'm just glad they finally cancelled it because it wasn't entertaining at all. If I want to see an idiot scream like a wimp on Top Thrill Dragster, I'll just ride the damn thing.
  6. Was sitting at a red light in the left turn lane and heard a crash. The guy next to me rear-ended the car in front of him. Glad it wasn't me.
  7. ^ If it's on Travel Channel, they'll make sure it has some jackass like Bert the Conqueror hosting it.
  8. So with the pollution...does this mean this SLC is like being in a continuous car crash inside of a gas chamber? Great TR!
  9. Interesting ride with a very strange concept (a Kraken queen pulling coasters underwater?). If there's a scene where she pulls down GhostRider, I don't think many people will try to stop her!
  10. Magnum XL-200 - Cedar Point
  11. I've ridden Mystery Mine, Dare Devil Dive, and Untamed (ranked in that order). Mystery Mine is pretty rough, but the layout and theming is great. It's by far my favorite ride at Dollywood. Dare Devil Dive has great trains, but I find its layout to be incredibly boring, especially after the MCBR. Untamed just beats the daylights out of you. Once was enough for me.
  12. I remember hearing that a few of the new rides would just be improvements to existing rides. Interesting to see, though, as I've heard this place isn't all that popular. I'll probably be visiting in March, so I'll make sure to take a look at the construction (if possible)!
  13. It's a nice little FEC, and I'm glad to see this Windstorm is a second coaster and not a replacement for the Wildcat. It's a nice place to stop for an easy two credits when you're in the area. I'll definitely have to stop by again for this new coaster. Hopefully, I can find the card from my last visit so I don't have to pay a dollar for another one!
  14. Geauga Lake
  15. ^ Probably because the operations are so bad that they'd always have double stacking.
  16. Some brief suggestions for you: 1. Yes. 2. If you want to hit everything on your list, use Memorial Day weekend as your travel days to the States and start going to parks on that Tuesday. Crowds will be very light during the week (many parks will be completely dead), but you may have to deal with school groups. The weekends might be a little heavy (depending on the park). 3. They should be open by Memorial Day. 4. That depends. If you're only interested in riding the coasters for the credits, yes. If you're looking for an overall park experience and don't care about the coasters that much, no. 5. It shouldn't really matter based on crowds. Whichever one fits your schedule best. 6. There's a good number of small parks on your route, but most of them can be skipped if you're pressed for time. Most just have kiddie coasters and other non-memorable rides. 7. Yes. Even on the busiest days, they don't sell out online. I would judge the crowds upon arrival and see if it's needed. Parks you might need it at would be SFNE, SFGAdv, BGW, KD, SOFG, and SFGAm. If you get season passes, you might be able to get it cheaper at the park than you would online. 8. It's going to be an awesome trip and there's a lot of great stuff on your itinerary! You're also going to be in the largest Megalopolis in the world (DC to Boston), so beware of the traffic and allow yourself plenty of time for travel between destinations. Most importantly: have fun!
  17. Another great TR, AJ! I too had heard many terrible things of Hersheypark, and I visited this year for the first time since 2008. Wildcat really isn't that bad, as you said. I think some people whine about it too much. I also agree that Fahrenheit is extremely underrated. It's my personal favorite coaster at the park. Funny story: I rode Xtreme Cup Challenge opening season. Remember that little dip through the arch at the end of the ride? My car valleyed on that hill and we had to wait for a maintenance worker to push us over.
  18. ^^ Paula, since you mentioned there was only one exception, it makes me want to be exception #2!
  19. YES! Would you like to ride a 300 ft tall RMC?
  20. Granted, but they complain about complain about everything else...loudly...right in your ear! I wish Six Flags parks were as nice as Cedar Fair parks.
  21. I've never heard about that, but I think Hypersonic's old spot is at its peak right now. Cedar Fair made an excellent decision scrapping it and building nothing in its place.
