  1. I really didn't care for either Bizarro soundtracks. The lift hills were fine, but it was lost immediately. The brake run loop is extremely irritating, especially when you're stacked for a while.
  2. Some of my favorites (in no particular order): -Exterminator at Kennywood -Space Mountain at WDW -Dragon Challenge at IOA -Verbolten at BGW -Former Disaster Transport (Back when the ENTIRE queue was open) -Flight of Fears -Manta at SWO -Joker at SFM -Revenge of the Mummy at USF Ones that I really don't care for (again, in no particular order): -Expedition Everest - I'm so over the Bigfoot hype. The theming irritated me more than anything. -Batman the Rides - They need AC in the tunnels. I almost collapsed from heat exhaustion in one of them in 2012. -Medusa at SFM - I hated going through the gift shop to get to the entrance. Hopefully, it's been changed with Medusa Steel. -Dragon Coaster at Rye Playland - It's very cramped and you have no "personal space."
  3. This is a really interesting project. I skimmed through the first half of the proposal, and it looks like they've done everything right so far. Hopefully, it will turn out well for Paramount. If/when this park opens, I'll definitely be visiting during their debut season!
  4. ^ Both of those Boomerangs are extremely painful rides and are definitely better off being scrapped. CW's ride is still a very popular ride, so it probably won't be going anytime soon. If Knotts' ride does get relocated, they really need to get a new train for it. I don't think it would be worth moving it within the chain with its current train.
  5. This is interesting. Especially so since you usually only hear terrible news from this area of Mexico. Sounds like the local government is trying to clean up Gurrero and bring back the tourists.
  6. Expedition Everest didn't impress me at all. It was so hyped up, but I found it very dull other than a few drops. The theming on the inside isn't that great. I didn't even notice the Yeti on the first ride. The final brake was terribly sudden and left a nice bruise on my stomach. I doubt I would ride it again.
  7. Yes, and not in a good way. Do you think Top Thrill Dragster is overrated?
  8. If you keep a glasses strap in your glove compartment just in case you make an impromptu trip.
  9. Invertigo wouldn't be a terrible addition, but I would be surprised to see it removed from KI. It's still very popular there. A Hyper GT-X or even a small Premier launched coaster would work really well with their current line-up.
  10. Why would you want Cedar Fair to move that torture device there?
  11. Granted, but it will replace Maverick. I wish there was more of a variety on TV nowadays.
  12. I'd like to be under the sea in an octopus' garden in the shade.
  13. Six Flags over Texas last December. The ride ops were incredibly rude, to the point where I was raging at their actions. Long story short: I was threatened to be kicked out of the park without any wrong doing (I know I should go into depth, but I really don't feel like bringing back my anger). I immediately went to Guest Relations, asked for the manager, acted as politely as possible (trust me, it was difficult), and was awarded a line jump of NTaG. I fired off a very long e-mail to Corporate, too, but of course I got no response. My visit there was horrific in other ways, too. All of which were the fault of the park. I really don't have a desire to return to the park now. Probably the second worst would be getting sick at CoasterMania 2008 and being forced to miss Jr. Gemini ERT. I'm still very bitter about it...
  14. ^ Most stations have handicap accessible ramps or elevators.
  15. ^ It's one of the nicer areas of the park, too. I usually walk through it simply because it has a better atmosphere than the surrounding Gotham.
  16. ^ It's listed on their website. Just go to the Holiday in the Park page.
  17. ^ I also noticed that Joker's Jinx has brakes immediately following the launch that slows it down dramatically. It takes away the intensity that the Flight of Fears have, but there's no need for the MCBR. Funny story about the Flight of Fear MCBR: I was riding with a friend in the front seat, and he let off this extremely rank fart right at the end of the MCBR. Everyone behind us was royally crop dusted. It was glorious.
  18. For me... California - Superman: Escape from Krypton Florida - Manta Georgia - Batman the Ride Indiana - Legend Kentucky - Kentucky Rumbler Maryland - Superman - Ride of Steel Massachusetts - Bizarro Michigan - Shivering Timbers Missouri - Outlaw Run New Hampshire - Yankee Cannonball New Jersey - El Toro New York - Comet North Carolina - Intimidator Ohio - Millennium Force Pennsylvania - Phantom's Revenge Tennessee - Mystery Mine Texas - New Texas Giant Virginia - Intimidator 305 West Virginia - Big Dipper
  19. Along the lines of "wanting more," I will put the Ice/Horntail side of Dragon Challenge. It was a great ride, but it's pacing left me wanting another inversion when I hit the brake run. On the Fireball side, I felt satisfied at the brake run.
  20. Nice pictures of the Scooby building. I highly regret not riding it when I was at the park in April.
  21. ^ Great photo! The old first drop was fantastic with that unexpected ejector air. The new drop is going to be sensational!
  22. If the entire train is the same or another complimenting color, it will look absolutely stunning with that orange track!
  23. I didn't notice it either! Damn, that thing must be awful. Of course, being the idiot credit whore that I am wouldn't stop me from riding it...
  24. ^ I remember you and I discussed this when we visited the park a few years ago. I hate to tell Six Flags, but a new bathroom by Batwing IS an infrastructure improvement. A new water line only takes two to three weeks at most to install, and the building construction wouldn't be a large investment. It's something they could do fairly easily that will bring customer satisfaction. A new water line would also encourage other new investments in that area in the future.
