  1. a very special Flashback clone for Michigan's Adventure....from Santa Claus! He got so tired of hearing people complain about Michigan's Adventure not getting any love from Cedar Fair that he decided the whiners would get what they deserved. Even though it was much more terrible than the original, people just couldn't stop riding it. However, the enthusiasts...
  2. Very exciting concept! It's nice to see a new coaster concept be built first at a park that's lesser known. I'll definitely have to check this out when I visit San Antonio!
  3. ^ I thought the B&M vests were tighter than Green Lantern's, personally. I don't mind them being tight around the body, but I do around the collar. I should have been more specific in my initial post.
  4. ^ Yes, it's Kennywood! Their fries are even better when smothered in bacon and cheese!
  5. That train looks really good. I wonder if those vests will be as tight as the B&M vests.
  6. Drachen Fire, Shockwave, and Flashback. All of the tracks decayed, but in the winter there was a special visit by Santa Claus! He used his Christmas magic to...
  7. True. NTaG and Outlaw Run The person below me has ridden all of the RMC coasters to date.
  8. Yes Do you wish you were at IAAPA?
  9. Kombo - Indianapolis Zoo
  10. It's 9 degrees outside, and I have to go do a construction inspection...
  11. ^ Ended up finding a better version.
  12. ^ The sad part is that's one of the smoother Volares. The one at the nearby Rye Playland is much worse.
  13. ^^ I remember Wildcat being well maintained, so this one should get all of the TLC it needs. To date, I'm not a fan of this type of ride, but maybe this one will be good.
  14. I like that promo picture of the woodie! They just edited a Vortex promo pic! I couldn't find the image, but I knew it was on the cover of this book:
  15. ^ Me, too. As cool as it looks, it seems a little too farfetched. If it's built, 2017 is going to be a great year to visit Orlando.
  16. That's a great place for them to put the SkyScreamer. Looking forward to it on my next visit!
  17. Adventureland in Sharjah, UAE on February 28 next year.
  18. Mountain Coaster at Wisp Resort yesterday. Nothing like riding an Alpine Coaster during the off-season!
  19. I rode it in April this year and must have gotten the normal mode for the splash. I really liked Fire in the Hole. It's much better than Blazing Fury.
  20. ^ The new management just hasn't kept up on the maintenance on some of the rides. This applies mostly to the dark rides, especially Noah's Ark, Garfield's Nightmare, and Exterminator. Most of the props no longer work, and this is very much the case for Noah's Ark. The old Kennywood Bath-O-Sphere finale is completely blocked off (and has been for about five years now), the Storm at Sea room doesn't work (for about three years now), Noah just stands there looking stupid, and all of the figures inside desperately need a coat of paint and/or new feathers/fur (it's sad to see fake animals have mange). In addition, the new management has let operations go down hill across the park. They've also made some odd decisions for park additions (Johnny Rocket's in the old Carousel building??) As vindictive as I am about the new management, I have to give them props for adding a fantastic new dark ride (Ghostwood Estates) and a desperately needed new coaster (Sky Rocket). I just wish they would "wake up" and see where other things are desperately needed, like an overhauled Noah's Ark.
  21. Both have unique B&M flying coasters. Hersheypark and Ferrari World Abu Dhabi
  22. False. Maybe next year. The person below me visited the former Geauga Lake/Six Flags Worlds of Adventure. (Double points if you went during Cedar Fair and Six Flags management!)
  23. Whirlwind - Seabreeze
