Game: Careful What You Wish For

Granted, but instead of everything being hugely discounted, they're heavily marked up! I wish the weather would make up its mind. -

Please don't move Flight Deck. It would cause my stupidity to make me ride it again in its new home. -
Paramount's terrible management would never have been able to compete. What if Cedar Fair had closed down CGA?

^ That really doesn't surprise me. That guy was a strong defender of the denial of same-sex marriage in NC. Considering it's a southern state, there's probably many people who are still bitter about it being legal in the state. Will he get it overturned? Doubtful.

Bought a better plane ticket for my trip to the UAE in March. Nonstop from Dulles for $825.

they had to build it in the middle of nowhere because building it near Minneapolis and whatnot wouldn't have allowed the reasonable ride prices. Long story short, nobody rode it and the owner went bankrupt. It was sold at auction, and it went to a land where used US coasters are bountiful...the land of...

Yes, I must be. I forgot that one existed. Shows you how much I care about Kiddy Kingdom, right? -
IOA has Seuss Landing, which is a nice kids area with a decent amount of stuff for them. Plus, you have the Hippogriff coaster. If your girlfriend is a Potter fan, I would think you'd want to do both parks. Plus, there's another nice kids area in the Studios park. SeaWorld is much more than Kraken. Manta and Journey to Atlantis are both great coasters that are well worth your time. If you see all of the animal exhibits and maybe a show or two, you'll definitely get your money's worth.

Best Drop Ride!!!

I'm a big fan of the Sky Screamer (or whatever it's called) at Marineland. The cycle is great and the views are absolutely spectacular. The only problem is walking all the way up that damn hill to ride it. -

I think CW has a great coaster collection for the most part. I LOVE Leviathan, and I could easily sit there and ride it all day long. Behemoth, DF, Fly, Ghoster Coaster, Minebuster, Thunder Run, and Vortex are all great rides as well. CW is definitely a park I need to get back to some day. -

Why on earth would you people want to hide that gorgeous carousel in Frontiertown? It's a great centerpiece in the entrance area. Moving the Kiddy Kingdom rides around isn't a bad idea, though. They could easily fit in a major family attraction in that spot. -
TOP 5 B&M INVERTED COASTERS
GwaziBSRider1 replied to CoasterExpert13's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
1. Banshee 2. Alpengeist 3. Raptor 4. Batman the Rides (StL, GAdv, OG) 5. Montu I absolutely love all of these coasters. Banshee was the most desired coaster for me in 2014, and it definitely didn't disappoint. With my Batmans, there is one that I don't rank with the others and that's Magic Mountain's. I don't know why, but this one didn't feel as exciting as the others, but it's still fun. -
Photo TR: An Epic Theme Park Summer

I really like Dorney, even if it is pretty generic. For how small it is compared to some of the other CF parks, it has a killer coaster lineup. I also prefer Hydra to the other coasters. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing Possessed AND Stinger removed for something awesome built in their place. Thunderhawk is an incredibly fun ride, but it desperately needs a good retracking. Also, I wish Demon Drop was still at Cedar Point, but I'm glad that the nostalgia is still on the East Coast. -
I didn't go to my home park (Kennywood) at all this year. I was too busy with my personal life during the summer and there were many other "new for me" parks I wanted to visit. As much as I love my home park, it doesn't look like I'll visit next year, either. Years ago, I'd visit three or four times a year, but in recent years, it's been once a year.

Thanks again everyone for all of the valuable information! It is very much appreciated! Also, I've updated the list of much needed data. Fun fact: The coaster with the largest data pool so far is Raptor. The only coaster with zero data is Family Inverted Coaster. -
The "Pleasant/Unpleasant Surprise" Thread
GwaziBSRider1 replied to cfc's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm going to throw a vote out here for Skyrush being a pleasant surprise. After all of the complaints about leg pain, I was expecting the worst. It was painful, but all of that amazing ejector air made the pain worth it! To balance out with an unpleasant surprise, I'm going to go with Expedition Everest. I've heard lots of praise for this ride and was very excited to ride it, but it was just...blah. The yeti theme does nothing for me after being bombarded with Bigfoot shows on TV. Actually, the first time I rode it, I didn't even see the damn yeti. The layout does little for me and the final brakes are too strong, leaving me with a nice bruise on my stomach after three rides. Actually, the entirety of Animal Kingdom was an unpleasant surprise for me, but that's another story. I'd much rather visit BGT than Animal Kingdom again. -
