  1. ^ As much as we'd all love to see top tier Intamins and B&Ms in every park, it just can't be done. Yes, MiA overdue for a new coaster, but I'd be surprised if it were a B&M. The market simply isn't there for something of that caliber.
  2. I've never heard of this before. I've ridden Kennywood's Exterminator many, many times with all four seats filled. I've seen others all run with four people in a car, too. I'm not sure why Six Flags would limit it.
  3. ^^ I 100% agree with you on Dominator. It simply blows all of the other floorless coasters (at least the ones I've ridden so far) out of the water. It was amazing at Six Flags/Geauga Lake, and it's still amazing at Kings Dominion. Also, with your comment about the seat on Anaconda. This is what we lovingly refer to as "the magic seat" (first row of the last car). On Arrows and Vekomas, this tends to be the smoothest seat on the ride. Even some of the mind-blowingly rough ones sometimes ride fairly smooth in that seat.
  4. ^ Here's a website that outlines Cincinnati pretty well: http://wikitravel.org/en/Cincinnati As for a FL on Sunday, you probably won't need it. If you get there and it's fairly crowded, go ahead and buy one. I've never seen it sell out before, even on the busiest days.
  5. I always thought the Boss had a lot of potential, and new trains would definitely be a step in the right direction. Those Gerstlauer trains need to go. We'll see what the future holds.
  6. Mine USED to be, but ever since Kennywood sold out to Parques Reunidos, it's most certainly not. That park is sliding downhill.
  7. ^ That feeling is honestly the best part of Tatsu for me, especially since it's more intense on Tatsu than the other Flyers (at least that I've ridden).
  8. A great wooden coaster! What could it be???
  9. Wolverine Wildcat - Michigan's Adventure
  10. woke up, realizing their evil deeds had really been a dream the entire time! In the real world, all of the Six Flags parks had been bought out by Parques Reunidos! Now, the Six Flags were mismanaged like never before! Parques Reunidos started by...
  11. First thing that I thought of: Arthur at Europa Park
  12. ^ I completely agree. The corkscrews are a little tight, but they don't look that terrible. That entrance is hurting my neck just looking at it.
  13. Mad Mouse being trimmed to death seems strange to me. I remember the one at MiA barely being trimmed at all and giving a great ride.
  14. ^ I think a Skyscreamer would be a wonderful addition to the park. If they're going to put in a new coaster at Great Escape, please let it replace that horrible mine train.
  15. One day I will go down to Myrtle Beach, get all of the credits, and leave as quickly as humanly possible. From sane people, I've only heard bad things. I say sane because Myrtle Beach seems to be the only place most people in this area go on vacation.
  16. ^ I can assure you that Saturday will be extremely crowded, and it will only get worse as it gets closer to sundown. I wouldn't step foot in the park that day without a FastLane+. You definitely need to make sure to get night rides on Banshee and Beast. The Beast's line will get exceptionally long at night (Don't be surprised to see it 2-3 hours long!).
  17. I'm so glad that Rampage is running so well. Looks like I've got to go to Alabama next year and ride it!
  18. Glad you enjoyed Hershey so much! It's such a lovely park, especially this time of year. I also tried for a backseat ride on Skyrush, but the ride op didn't allow me to go back there (he was very rude about it too, even though I asked very politely). Their Intamins are all fantastic, though.
  19. Those are some sexy stats right there. Maybe I missed this somewhere, but why won't the full theme be ready until 2016?
  20. I actually think the supports on those corkscrews are kind of neat looking, but dear god that has to be painful.
  21. ^ It's not the ride itself that can't handle the temperatures. It's the fluids and grease.
  22. ^ I LOVE Huss Enterprises. Hell, I love (almost) all of the older Huss rides. Condors, Enterprises, Flying Carpets, and the Pirate ships are a particular favorite. That's one of the reasons I have such a fondness for Marineland. I'm like a kid in a candy store when it comes to all of their Huss rides!
  23. Even though I'm not a huge fan of it... Taken by me
  24. ^ I remember they did the same thing at Parque Bicentenario on Montana Rusa. I bought the picture for two reasons: 1. I actually felt sorry that they already printed it out (I'm sure this is the marketing ploy), and 2. It was my first Chinese knock-off and the look on my face was priceless.
  25. I wish the building I work in looked that amazing!
