  1. I'm really looking forward to trying the new trains on Wildcat too, but unfortunately I'll have to wait till next May.
  2. I would do SFNE this year with Lake Compounce and SFGAdv. next year, that way you get to ride the two best coasters in the US. Intamin rules baby!!!!
  3. I have to agree with you on that. ET and ROS are the two coasters I could actually marathon. I guess that's one of the many reasons why these two coasters are head and shoulders above anything else I have ridden.
  4. If this is true, it makes me dislike Paramount even more. Nothing like buying parks in the US, ruining them, selling them, and then moving on to another country.
  5. Great PTR. I really like your pics from the sky ride and Ferris Wheel. ...and it never gets old seeing pics of my favorite woodie, Rolling Thunder. Just kidding, El Toro.
  6. Sorry to hear about the delay, but this is the reason why I wait to go to parks with new coasters opening. Of course, I lucked out last year with El Toro, riding it 4 days after it opened. ...but I wouldn't make a habit of trying to time an opening. ...so I'll wait till next May to ride Maverick and just settle for Mystery Mine and Griffon later this year.
  7. It's no different than CP having Wicked Twister, Iron Dragon, and Raptor or how about Kings Dominion having 4 coasters that launch.
  8. I have to disagree a little bit here. While the Mummy doesn't have as much airtime as the B&M hypers, the airtime it does have is so much better. ...now the Intamin hypers are a whole different story. As for which is better the Hulk or Mummy, IMO it's the the Mummy hands down. Heck I have the Hulk as my 8th favorite steel coaster in Florida, behind ROTM, Montu, DD-Fire, Sheikra, DD-Ice, Kumba, and Kraken. (in that order)
  9. Nice TR. What a difference a couple days makes.(...and yes I know the Spiderman event wasn't going on yet. ) The Hulk had a 10 minute wait most of Wednesday, along with Spiderman and Dr. Doom. ...oh and while I didn't have breakfast with Spidey, I did see the movie Friday at downtown Disney.
  10. Paula, That's a nice looking rug no doubt, but the current bid is a little too pricey for me. ...now if you decide to sell them in the future at the park, I would have to get me one.
  11. You beat me to the punch, my poor baby. ...it's one of the few rides I actually love.
  12. Thanks, for the PTR. ...and it's nice to see the short line for Kraken. Hopefully, it'll be that short when I ride in 12 days.
  13. Unfortunately, as the weather gets better, the line for El Toro will grow and grow.
  14. Get the gold flash pass, it's so worth it. IMO, Great Adventure is no fun on the weekends without it. ...and Derek's plan is a good one to follow.
  15. Dude...what are you smoking? It kicked all kinds of a$$! Planet Terror was great, but Death Proof was so awesome. It took a little while to get going, but seriously...wow. Rodriguez does a good job cloning/mocking the genres, Tarantino knocked it out of the park in my opinion. I have to agree with Wes. Planet Terror was as good as I thought it would be, and Death Proof was even better.
  16. Yea, I heard about this on the news. There were 128 people from the Raleigh area on board.
  17. Coke Zero for me, yuck to Pepsi.
  18. ^Very true, even a slightly slower Storm Runner is better than 98 percent of the coasters in the country. ...and I can't wait to get back up there to ride Wildcat with the new coaster trains. I have a feeling it will move up on my wooden coaster list from #9.
  19. Sounds to me like Storm Runner shouldn't have been running due to the temperature.
  20. Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan. Oh wait, this isn't the favorite Disney actress turned pop singer is it. Actually, I would have to say Aerosmith.
  21. My favorite show that's still airing new episodes is Smallville. My other favorites: Friends Seinfeld Home Improvement Everybody Loves Raymond Married with Children A few others: Leave it to Beaver Gilligan's Island The Monkees
  22. I've met a few celebs along the way. Let's see, sports: Daryl Strawberry, Dwight Gooden, Ricky Henderson, Kirby Puckett, and a few others. music: Alan Jackson and Debbie Gibson movie/TV: Regis, Sarah Jessica Parker, Joe Piscopo, Rosie O'Donnell, and a few others. ...oh and a few former WWF wrestlers worked out at the gym I worked at. Edit: ...oh and the best was talking with Dan Marino for a few minutes on the phone.
  23. Sorry, but at least it improves my odds.
  24. I have to go with Planet Terror. Zombie movies rule.
  25. M E T S, Mets Mets Mets!!! 2-0 baby. Edit: Now it's 3-0 baby!!!!
