  1. ^I couldn't agree more, go with IOA and BGA.
  2. Very interesting layout. I wonder if there will be much in the way of airtime.
  3. Very sad, but we knew it was coming. I don't care what anybody says, I loved Freefall and it's still my favorite of the drop tower/freefall rides. It was the only kind that made my stomach feel like it was in my throat.
  4. Maybe it's just me, but I think it's a nice addition for the park. But what do I know, I thought Pandemonium was the second best coaster at SFNE.
  5. ^I second the best parks poll. It would be interesting to see who would come out on top, Disney, Universal, or the Cedar Point fanboys. ...as for the poll, no big surprises. Who didn't see The Voyage being #1. I guess the only mild surprise was Boulder Dash at #5. I had it #10 on my list and I've only been on about half of the top 25 coasters, maybe with the re-tracking it will be better the next time around. ...and YAY for Intamin.
  6. That would be great pkdcoaster. Thanks. I also heard that the supports for the top of the lift hill are in place. ...but no pics, so I'm not sure if that's true or not..
  7. Well, I did my part and voted a few days ago.
  8. ^I guess I'm a kid at heart because I find epcot boring and it's my least favorite park on this list.
  9. ^I think TheArchfiend's remark was in jest.
  10. I really can't disagree with that.
  11. Thanks for the link, Chuck. It's kind of a bummer that they're opening Griffon so late next year, oh well at least I'll be riding Sheikra in early May.
  12. Favorite B&M: Inverted Least favorite B&M: Stand-up
  13. Here's my list so far for 2007. April: Kings Dominion May: BGA, IOA, USF, BGE June: SFA Aug: Lagoon Sept: BGE Oct: Dollywood ...probably won't hit Carowinds until they get a new coaster. sigh. List for 2008 Cedar Point ...and more to come in time.
  14. Thanks for the heads-up on the cool pics. It really shows how close Griffon, Alpengeist, and Loch Ness are to each other.
  15. Those are some of the best pictures I have seen. Great job!!!! I really love the night shots, the close-ups on Alpengeist, and of course the beautiful autumn foliage. ....and I know the park been closed only one day, but the 2007 season can't get here soon enough.
  16. I'm all for it, bring the Zippin Pippin to NC.
  17. I actually enjoyed my last visit to Great Adventure back in early June, but I also had a gold flashpass.
  18. Fantastic on-ride pics!!! ...especially the Apollo pics. Thanks for sharing.
  19. I'm sorry, but Bobcats is a stupid name for a NBA team. Sounds like an arena football team to me. Anyway, I just wished we could have kept the Hornets name, oh well. ...oh and I'll ignore that little comment about the Mets.
  20. Pumping There's nothing wrong with Apollo's Chariot.
  21. I agree with what Robb said, Florida without a doubt.
  22. Well, if you don't count Thunderhawk at Dorney, it would probably have to be Wildcat at Lake Compounce.
  23. Looking good, but I'm curious to see how much theming will eventually go into this ride. I guess only time will tell.
