  1. A few that come to mind. Ghost World, I Heart Huckabees, The New Guy, Caveman, and RV.
  2. That's a good sign, now let's hope it continues when they add the second train. .
  3. You're a natural, I voted a couple times for ya.
  4. This is a popular order to follow: 1.Sheikra- most popular, longest line all day. 2.Kumba- longer lines if any at all later in the day as the GP migrate to the back of the park. 3.Cheetah Chase or Scorpion- as stated above low capacity. 4.Cheetah Chase or Scorpion- low capacity 5.Montu-waits are usually shorter, as stated above 6.Gwazi last- front of the park coasters sometimes have their longest lines first thing in the morning because the GP doesn't know any better. If you get there just before opening, you should stay ahead of the crowds. ...even though you're heading in the same direction the GP usually goes.
  5. IF everyone is honest, I wonder how many people will be able to vote in most of these match-ups. I think a steel coaster tournament will be a little easier for people.
  6. I would have preferred more of a hill, but I'll wait to ride the new Chiller before having an official opinion.
  7. Looks good, Robb. Two thumbs up.
  8. Very nice pics, thanks. The more I see of Griffon, the more I like it's colors. ...and it'll look great once all the landscaping is done.
  9. I thought Carowinds was the nicest of all the former Paramount parks, but the coaster line-up is a little weak. ...as for Top Gun, I think it's a very underrated coaster. It's in my top 10, currently at #9. I always call it the mini Montu, which is a good thing.
  10. Now those are the best pics I've seen all off-season. Thanks, ferg.
  11. Thanks for the PTR. What a difference a week makes weather wise. ...as for the hyper, I hear it will actually go under the bridge twice. ...once on the way out and of course on the return.
  12. Congrats to the Koch family, it's well deserved.
  13. ^ I agree, doing the Seaworld/BGA deal is your best bang for the buck. It's 85.99 for the two parks and you can go as many times as you want in a 7 day span. You just have to get the ticket online a week before you use it. They don't have the special at the park's ticket window. Edit: ...they also have the same deal for IOA/USF, if you're interested.
  14. Thanks for the pics, Ferg. ...and sorry to hear about the website problems.
  15. Nice TR, thanks for the pics. I really like the pictures inside the station of Mr. Freeze. ...and for some reason I really like the picture where you can only see Titan's lift hill from down the road.
  16. Is anyone else having trouble getting on BGEscape? I've tried fergusonat's link and going through rcdb, and no luck.
  17. I have at least one credit to get at the following parks. SWO -(Shamu) BGA -(Sheikra) IOA -(Unicorn) USF -(ROTM & Woody) BGE -(Griffon) Kings Dominion -(IJ:TC) Carowinds -(a few junior/kiddie credits) Dollywood -(Mystery Mine) ...so I'll be visiting those parks this year. ...and next year is Cedar Point in May.
  18. I believe Busch Gardens built Sheikra's station with the idea of going floorless down the road, so the transition shouldn't be as extensive as if they were building it from scratch.
  19. ^I keep hearing the end of May, but I'm not sure.
  20. The single rider line for Spiderman is great. The last time I went back in 2004, the regular line was 90 mins and the single rider line was 20 mins. ...and that was 3 days after Christmas. Oh and I agree, hit the Hulk early and then head to Dueling Dragons. I was able to get on DD seven times total before any big crowds came, and I waited for the front or back every time.
  21. I agree, Gold Reef City is a very nice looking park. ...and the more I see of Anaconda, the more I want to ride it. Oh, by the way, thanks for the PTR.
  22. I think WillMontu summed it up well, as to which attractions to hit. ...and I also agree that at least two days are needed. As for which parks I like better, without a doubt it's Universal Studios and IOA. IMO, Universal has the better water rides(Dudley & Popeye), dark ride (Spiderman), and of course the better coasters(ROTM, Hulk, DD).
  23. It looks like it'll be fun and unique, but we knew it was coming. That's probably the reason for the lack of interest today.
  24. If that's true, I feel sorry for the people working that website.
