  1. I'd like to put a bid on the Jennifer Lopez. Did I just write that.
  2. I always like the parks that have quality over quantity. I'll take a park with 2 or 3 very good coasters over a park that has 8 or 10 average coasters.
  3. I love the artistic designs of GCI coasters, and it doesn't hurt that they are fun to ride.
  4. He may have obsessive-compulsive disorder(OCD). If he's enjoying himself and not hurting anyone, I see no problems.
  5. I really like the Retro Photo TR idea. I'd like to see some old photos of Lightning Loops at SFGr.Adv.
  6. Poor ride maintenance. coughMost Six Flagscough
  7. That's the best pic yet. I think it deserves to be on the Theme Park Review Home page, so when people visit the site that's what they see first. Edit: It's 30 minutes later and I'm still
  8. Unfortunately, the closest park to me is 2 1/2 to 3 hours away. With that said, my home park could be BGWilliamsburg, Kings Dominion, or Carowinds.
  9. I think mine was Loch Ness Monster at BGW. Though, I did ride Python and Scorpion at BGT the same year(1987).
  10. It sounds like it could be a muscle strain. You probably tensed up your leg while entering the pretzel loop. I would just take it easy for a week or so. You could also use a heating pad. P.S. Come to think of it, I remember feeling it in my hip flexor when I rode it at Great Adventure.
  11. Thunderhead@Dollywood, three days ago.
  12. Another coaster that should be mentioned for great airtime is Timber Terror at Silverwood. It has the perfect combination of great air and short lines.
  13. Though I don't really enjoy the ride, I do like the name Hurler. (PKD&Carowinds)
  14. I would call 24 normal for a woodie. There may be others, but this is the first 36 seater I've heard of. (Balder and Colossos have 30 seats per train) I'm sure they made El Toro 36 seats to keep the long lines moving, since Great Adventure has a very high yearly attendance.
  15. All I can say is WOW!!! The number that has me most excited is the 76 degree angle on the first drop. Also, the banked turns look sweet. Overall, I am very happy with the stats. I'm glad they didn't go with the 240 feet and 84 mph numbers. With that said, I guess I'll be visiting Great Adventure next spring. Edit: Taking a closer look at the layout, it reminds me of Superman-ROS(SFNE) a little.
  16. I would say I like PKD, but I can't say I love it. My favorite rides being Tomb Raider, Drop Zone, Volcano, Avalanche, and Hypersonic(because of the launch). Though I'm not crazy about the Italian Job coaster, I will be going next spring to ride it.
  17. GAcoaster, Since I'm not registered over at gadv.com, i'll take the time to thank you here for all the Gr.Adv. photo updates.
  18. El Toro??? That's the rumored name for the new coaster.
  19. The two coasters I'm looking forward to the most are Voyage at Holiday World and the Intamin woodie at SF Great Adventure. Reasons for Voyage: Steep first drop, 3 drops over 100 feet, 5 tunnels, 2 90 degree banked turns, and loads of air-time. Reasons for the Intamin woodie: If it's like Balder and Colossos, it will have loads of airtime and a steep first drop.
  20. My last coaster was Timber Terror at Silverwood last month. Next week is Busch Gardens-Williamsburg and Dollywood in October.
  21. ^I was just throwing it out there from the clues Boston, Tea, and Vacation. I was thinking Boston Tea Company has Magic Mountain Herbal Tea and the movie Vacation with Walley World.
  22. I'm going way out on a limb and guessing Hong Kong Disneyland.
  23. This is my first post, I'm going to guess Lake Tahoe.
