  1. Just curious, why isn't Hershey on the list?
  2. Great PTR, I really like your close-ups of Nemesis.
  3. That's all the Disney fanboys/girls who can't admit that Universal has the better ride. ...and yes I'm a Universal fanboy.
  4. ^I wouldn't call it arrow rough, but compared to other B&Ms, it's a little rough.
  5. If you want smooth, you need to ride El Toro.
  6. Unfortunately, I have to agree with the roughness. That's one of the reasons why Alpie isn't #1 anymore in my book.
  7. Sorry to hear about the Cyclone, but not about the Yanks. P.S. Don't feel too bad about the Yanks, the Mets lost to.
  8. Heck with the Yanks and Boston....Let's go Mets!!!!
  9. ^Agreed...I almost feel guilty comparing El Toro to other wooden coasters.
  10. The hill that goes over Rolling Thunder is the best moment of airtime on any coaster, period!!!!
  11. Just curious, did Great Adventure give permission to do a POV?
  12. ^That's what I did on Friday. I got my Gold Flashpass first, then headed to KK. I was on in about 10 minutes. After that I headed over to El Toro, since it wasn't open yet, I rode Rolling Thunder twice. By that time my flashpass was buzzing, so I got in line. I was up in the station in two minutes and waited 25 mins for the back. With the flashpass, I was able to ride El Toro 4 times and hit every other coaster in the park (except for Chiller). Overall, a very good day at Six Flags Great Adventure.
  13. ^I'm not sure, but they told me it would open later.
  14. ^^The line yesterday was about 2 1/2 hours by 11:30 (ET opened at 11am), and was still 2 hours around 7pm. I bought fastpass and was able to ride 4 times. It's now my #2 coaster overall, only behind S:ROS (SFNE).
  15. I was at Silverwood last year around 4th of July. I believe it was the 6th actually. There were hardly any lines on the big rides. The most I had to wait was maybe three trains, and that was for the front on Tremors and Timber Terror. I think the water park was actually more crowded than the theme park. I was able to ride Tremors and Timber Terror around 8 times each by the early afternoon.
  16. I'll be at the park next Friday, I'm praying it will be open.
  17. I guess there's a little more to Robin's breakdown then we thought.
  18. GA, you're the man. That's the best picture I've seen of El Toro yet.
  19. Yea, I noticed which paragraph was removed. Anyway, very good interview. Thanks.
