  1. Very nice picture TRs, thanks. Oh and I agree with every statement you made in your BGE report, even the slight criticism of the tree removal. ...and I don't care what anyone says, IMO, Apollo's Chariot is much better than the B&M Hyper up in Jersey.
  2. I think your statement pretty much sums it up for me.
  3. I would have to go with the ones everyone knows. Star Wars Raiders of the Lost Ark (Indy) Superman Jurassic Jaws I guess pretty much anything that involves John Williams.
  4. FYI, rumors are floating around about a possible title for the JJ Abrams movie coming out on 1-18-08. While not confirmed, it's been suggested that the title of the movie may be Colossus.
  5. What I really want to see is a South Park themed ride. ...but I guess SpongeBob will do.
  6. Those were some very nice pics, thanks. Both parks are looking very nice and clean.
  7. Look at the construction size of the area, how the hell is Busch Gardens going to cram in an B&M Hyper-coaster in there?Plus, the construction size is just not for an new coaster, but an new area with plenty of things! Other romurs says it could be another family rollercoaster, probably an Vekoma, the park needs a coaster for the family! If Busch wants a hyper coaster, they will find a way to fit it in. Trust me.
  8. This should probably be in the rumor thread, until an announcement is made by Hershey.
  9. Light crowds seem to be a theme this year, at least when I went too. I went on a Sunday in late June, and it was dead. I did every coaster at least once in about 3 hours, and was the only one riding Hurler. Anyway, thanks for the picture TR.
  10. What timing, I was just wondering how the construction was going. Thanks for the pics. Hopefully the weather will improve, so they can get this coaster done.
  11. Great updates Robb, thanks. ...but I think it's time to take a rest. Oh wait, you have the Midwest trip coming up. Nevermind.
  12. Great shots, Erik. I look forward to each and every update in the future. ...but don't forget about USF and the new Simpson ride/Krusty Land, after all it's opening a year before Harry Potter. It's just a great time to be a Universal/IOA fanboy.
  13. If you go through their website, I believe they start taking reservations in January. Can any Cedar Point regulars back that up? Edit: As for when to make reservations, I would make them by early spring to be on the safe side.
  14. Well, at least I have Wicked to look forward to next month when I visit Lagoon. Thanks for the picture TR.
  15. I truly believe the world would be a better place if we could beat the crap out of line cutters.
  16. I agree, Real. For the (Intamin) woodie comment alone, Kinzel is on my sh*t list.
  17. I saw Harry Potter 5 the other day and thought it was very good, but not the best. 9/10. My top 5 for the year: 1a. Transformers -9.5/10 1b. Die Hard 4 - 9.5/10 3a. Pirates 3 - 9.0/10 3b. Spiderman 3 - 9.0/10 3c. Harry Potter 5 - 9.0/10 ...not sure if there's another movie this summer that will crack my top 5, but I guess we'll see.
  18. Heck, I would get rid of Kings Dominion before Carowinds, but that's just me.
  19. Lagoon, next month. ...shortly followed by BGE and Dollywood.
  20. I've watched the trailer 3 or 4 times now, and it just doesn't get old. They definitely have my attention. Boy, 2008 is really starting to look good with this movie, Batman, and of course Indy all coming out.
  21. The next few years should be very interesting, since the overhead shot clearly shows the space is indeed very large.
  22. It seems Paramount is trying to remove all the videos showing the teaser. Some sources on the internet are reporting that the film is being shot for only around 30 million dollars. ...and that it may be shot entirely with a handheld home video camera, essentially like Blair Witch meets Godzilla. ...and even the casting for the movie was very mysterious. No scripts or scene pages were sent out, agents who were contacted were simply asked if their client wanted to be in the movie or not. Very weird. Of course, people are throwing out idea as to what it could be. A few ideas mentioned have been Godzilla, Voltron, and a "Lost" movie. While I think that those are doubtful, there was one mentioned that intrigued me. ...and that was Cthulhu (H.P. Lovecraft), but I sure that's just wishful thinking. Anyway, that's a few bits of information that I found, but who knows if any of it is true. Man, do I love all the mystery surrounding this movie.
  23. ^I second that. It may not be the longest walk, but it sure as hell feels like it. Oh and if anyone can get an overhead shot, just to determine if the area in question is large, that would be appreciated.
