My idea for a reality TV show.
larrygator replied to BlackHole2005's topic in Random, Random, Random
^^^A decision maker at a network or production would not even entertain your unsolicited idea, they wouldn't even see it. Unsolicited letters that contain any hint of an idea are trashed automatically to prevent future lawsuits from people who say a network/production company stole their idea. -

Scott - no need to start a self congratulatory thread. True achievement and excellence will be recognized. Looking forward to finally meeting you on Sunday -
This reminds me of an episode of Happy Days when Richie makes a REBUS sign for his girlfriend that has an eye, a heart and a ewe (a young sheep) and everyone reads it as "I love sheep" instead of "I love you"

Why not just "IJ4" as a title? Short enough The length of the title is a more uselss thing to argue over than most of the stuff we argue about here? and that is saying a lot -
The Flash Pass will be a neccesity on those days at SFGAdv. Expect the largest mass of humanity you have ever encountered.

^I consider not having to: drive around a foreign place, book hotels, study maps or investigate park hours to be stress free. My bigggest concern is waking up and following a schedule. In my life, that is far from stressful. If one can not follow an itinerary, a structured trip of any kind is probably a bad idea. You are right everyone likes to takes things at a different pace so these trips might not be for everyone. -
It will be at the O2 venue. Maybe Non German Tom can get tickets since he is a walking billboard for O2.

I guess that could be considered a victory for a nation founded by convicts. Actually, I really do like Australia and Australians. -

I know you are just curious but you are looking at it the wrong way. Figure out how much it would cost you to do the same trip/itinerary and you will see it is cheaper with TPR and completely stress free. Robb and Elissa are not rich, they don't live it up outside of coasters. They live meagerly so even if they make a little money off each person they are not becoming millionaires. And even if they earned a lot of money off these trips, Robb would just eat away the profits. -

Not a difficult question. The answer is YES. and has been stated before everyone (for UK, Spain, MidWest) that had been on a waiting list at the 1st deadline was bumped up to the being accepted due to the number of dropouts. This might not have been the case with Japan since it is a much smaller group of participants. -

^I've met enough people on these trips, you don't have to be cool to join the trips. -
You certainly picked a great time to visit. The 3 weekends after Labor Day are one of the best times to visit SFGAdv, before Fright Fest and after the summer. Unfortunately, work makes it tough to go on weekdays and I generally use my vacation to travel around. My observations for this year - lines were quite long between July-Labor on most Fridays and weekends and the park was very crowded. I tended to only stay a couple of hours each morning that I went or go late on Sunday nights. The pretzel loop on S:UF is still an intense element from the back of the train, but I can't understand why the line is constantly longer than El Toro since the overall ride is not great.

Ironic - On "the Continent" - the breakfast were usually bigger, far more varied and therefore less "Continental"
