  1. Boys/men tend to fixate on a single hobby whether it be sports, sci-fi, cars, music, coasters, etc... Girls/Women on the other hand find it easier to move across social strata and not pigeonhole themselves. Many females do like coasters but are just not obsessed with them. I could expound upon this greatly from my what I learned in Pysch Classes, except it would take too long to type and I forgot half the info.
  2. ^what you forget to include chocolate croissants and Kinder Eggs
  3. I rode alone back in July no problems. The haunted houe is not as bad as everyone says. The employees were very nice.
  4. ^there were quite a few incidents of TPRers almost wiping out small children on the Triangle of Triage. I personally had to jump over a kid and tweaked my knee. Luckily, no innocent children were maimed. Here is a good idea - "Let's drink of bunch of beer and take over a kiddie play area." YAY!
  5. I'm only cutting and pasting this because you got rid of that eyesore of a signature that used to be displayed. It was pretty easy to go to mousesavers.com and search the phrase "Jersey Week". You should be able to do that yourself, but like I said my eyes are grateful that you changed your signature. "Jersey Week" - Usually the first or second week of November. The New Jersey schools have a teachers' convention (upcoming convention dates: November 8-10, 2007; November 6-8, 2008). Lots of people pull their kids out of school for the whole week and add on the weekend before and/or after, taking this opportunity to go to Disney World in the "off season." New Jersey is the single biggest market for Walt Disney World -- you do the math!
  6. The good news is that the Brooklyn Cyclones have a road game that day. I'm not really sure about the aquarium parking rules. I usually drive around for 20-30 minutes and find a spot on the street. Meters are not enforced on Sundays. At least I think that is still the case. Sorry I can't be of more help.
  7. Good job Jim, great hanging with you. Did you know that John and Rebecca were inside the gates of the Cathedral when you took the picture with them in it or coincidence? Capitan Obliviouso needs to know.
  8. ^^only morons and little girls scream on coasters. An observation the coach driver made last year on the UK trip was that he could always tell when TPR was on a coaster because there was much less screaming than the General Public.

    2007 DVD?

There will be a DVD produced for each 2007 trip for the trip participants. I would guess that those 3 DVDs will also be available for purchase.
  10. It's been less than the week and all these Spain parks are starting to blend into each other. I don't remember which rides were at which parks (outside of the coasters). Alzheimers, maybe? But at least I'm not as old as Jeff Johnson.
  11. ^But we did run into many women on the trip that had a strong resemblence to ED with breasts.
  12. I was with Big Mike at the waterpark, and we do want to see more pictures of Big Mike. Just not Big Mike at the waterpark.
  13. Unfortunately, the second half of the ride is complete cow manure. 1st half of Excalibur = better than average 2nd half of Excalibur = snoozefest
  14. Did you read the TR or just look at the pretty pictures? They hated their time at SFNE!
  15. Glad you made it. I went a day early and recieved my first coaster injury, 4 hours before the birthday. Massive Charlie Horse in the back seat from being ejected into the lap bar. So much for all that padding, I can barely walk still.
  16. too bad you hate scramblers, because Astrosphere has a unique light show
  17. I should pay you no mind. However, for those that are still clueless, capitalization makes posts easier to read, especially for the non-US users.
  18. El Toro, but only if it is testing when you get to the park. ET and KK will always have the longest lines.
  19. OK we missed Skull Mountain, but we got: 1) - The Blue Diamond Park Galaxi credit 2) - Cheesesteaks at Pat's in Philly 3) - 2 1/2 hours at SFGAdv including 5 rides on El Toro including 4 in the last 20 minutes and the last two rides of the night. WE WIN!
  20. ^sounds like you are not a resident then
  21. no - I'm going Monday night 6/25 after work. I have to pack on Tuesday night for the Spain Trip. My schedule is real tight
  22. Robb - smart move. Even if you went on and stated your point of view, they would cut and snip sound bites to make it sound like you agreed with them.
  23. The key word being TRY. Yes, I still owe you a XL t-shirt Barry, I'm working on it.
  24. You've been on the only halfway decent ones. but then again I hate suspended coasters.
