larrygator replied to Goliath513's topic in Ask Alvey
I think it might be the "Theme from Peter Gunn" by Dick Dale -

Im a Terrorist! (Medford Fair Photo TR)
larrygator replied to Canobie Fan's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Officer Dick probably just wanted to call you a FREAK, but tried pulling out a bigger vocabulary word (Terrorist) without knowing the real meaning. Cops are stupid you know, I heard about one who drives a FREAK all over the East Coast to ride kiddie coasters. -
^Dude, Bowcraft just changed their pricing system this year. You now have to pay an admission price, versus free admission and paying by the ride. BOGUS!

Oh man, that wasn't the real Blarney Stone, it was just a way for the Irish to get some credits. I can't believe tourists still fall for that one. -

If you are not traveling with children and plan on doing every good ride you should try to get to Willy Wonka's first. The line gets long and the park has a policy of not letting adults ride without cildren, but they are lenient with the rule at opening. I'm not sure how familiar you are with non-coasters in the park but the non-coasters that should not be missed are: Duel - great shooting dark ride Hex - Vekoma Mad House in a castle Log Flume - best and wettest log flume outside of Orlando or Anaheim -
Has McDonalds really served billions, or the same 100 million people multiple times over?

She was probably upset that someone spelled her name wrong twice in his signature! She always eats when she is depressed. -

Those people must be attracted to Tom's balls. Tom's whale does look like a pig, as the folds of his shorts look like ears. -

1 - It's not a purple manpurse, it is a blue backpack from Alton Towers 2 - James' hat is BROWN! It might have been black at one time, but it is brown now. 3 - they were not yelling at those who could snap the flyers. 4 - no love for the Grizzly. 5 - James' also smiled on Drop Zone -
I'm working on those expressions for the next time I join up with BACT. The expressions were weak, but I really enjoyed the brews, thanks for the invite.

at least the old guy finally got the sleep he needed. Although it seems to have been interupted by your Jeep Cherokee getting in the way.

^Bill - puberty effects the actor who plays Walt, but that's hard to hide when three years of real time aging occurs over 90 days on the show. My thoughts on Naomi's people, are that they are part of Mr Widmore's company and he has been trying to locate the island to steal the learnings of Dharma for his own good. Maybe Mr. Widmore and Sun's father are in cahoots to rule the world. Who knows?

Jay - hang in there man, my brother deals with the same problems and I've met many successful people in business (including some of my clients) with the same diagnosis, so I'm well aware of what you go through. I know you haven't done a lot of parks but I'm always up for local park visits in the area (except SFGAdv on a business day )

Elissa will hate me, but Phoenix is one of the few coasters I prefer over Balder. Looks like I wasn't the only one.

More questions! OK - if the Jack flashbacks are in the future, how come his dad is still alive. Jack tells the Head of Surgery to go upstairs and talk to his dad. Why did Naomi have a picture of Desmond if Penelope is not associated with the freighter? Is Mr. Widmore trying to find the island separate from Penny. Is Mr. Widmore's company at odds with Mittelos? I'm LOST again. Come on - are we supposed to believe Hurley would be able to drive that VW bus to the beach and then through the sand on the beach.

Parks in the 70's?
larrygator replied to RollerC's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Totally agree with these points. Also, those with summer jobs in the 70's worked to earn money to spend on themselves. They took pride in their jobs because they needed the money. In my experience, with my parents and friends, parents were not as willing to just give money to their children. Also, parents were less apt to drop kids off and use the park as a babysitting service. All amusement parks were not just family friendly but a family experience. -
Blue Streak, while not a complete coaster, is the only woodie I was terrified of riding with my hands in the air. I had similar experiences to others on my one visit to CLP, there were just hardly any guests. CLP had a car show down by the lake and there were more people looking at the classics than at the rides.

Most Overrated coaster?
larrygator replied to BlackWidow's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Megaphobia and Grand National - I expected woodies in The Top 20 of Mitch's poll to be much better.
