I'm going to assume this has something to do with it's name/theme. Although I'm not aware of any myth or legend about a sea monster in this part of Canada that it can be named after.

I had a couple of my family members convinced I got accepted for an international internship. I told them I was going to be living in Ireland for the summer working for Guinness. I had to stop it when I got a call from my dad in California congratulating me. I didn't want him to tell my grandparents and get them all excited for me.

I'm no master at No Limits, but here's a couple things I can see with your coaster. If you're going for realism, there's some things you're going to need to change: 1. Your final brakes for some reason are on banked track. Take a look at any B&M out there and you won't see brakes on banked track, the track needs to be unbanked. 2. Your station is too long 3. The kicker wheels on the turn out of the station are not required. 4. What's the point of the launch track on the overbanked turn and the top of the hill after it? All the power of a B&M coaster comes from the first drop, there's no need for any kind of powered track. 5. Some of your supports go through the rails on the track. I'll stop there for now. It's good for a first try, but if you're going for realism, you need to work on some things.

I realize Ottawa is around 4hrs away from Toronto and won't be a huge competitor to Wild Water Kingdom and SplashWorks at Canada's Wonderland, but hopefully this will be some incentive for them to add some new slides and not lose people willing to make the drive.

I would love a Bioshock ride. Imagine an interactive dark ride walk through kind of thing. The walls are displays like Toy Story Mania and you are a Big Daddy protecting a Little Sister on the screen. As she collects Adam you have to ward off the Splicers; kind of like the proving grounds in BS1 or any of the gather portions in BS2. Depending on your score you can even face a Big Sister at the end. Besides that: How To Train Your Dragon - A flying coaster themed to dragon flight school with Hiccup as your teacher in the queue. Any Superhero that doesn't have a ride yet - Can be coaster or dark ride

I've gone once by myself to Canada's Wonderland. It was a school day so there were no lines and it wasn't that bad. When I tried again on a day with longer lines I left shortly after I got there, it was just too boring being by myself in long lines with nobody to talk to.

Just saw Hot Tub Time Machine. It was kind of like Back to the Future (it had George McFly in it) meets The Hangover. Not as many laughs as The Hangover, but it still had me chuckling. I'd recommend it for people wanting a good guy comedy movie.

That sounds awesome, but I have to wonder what they mean by taking an hour. Is that an hour with the queue filled to capacity, or an hour with an empty queue as you leisurely take your time exploring everything in line?

The new TV I bought myself on Black Friday has decided to make enemies with me. Awhile back when I went to play PS3, the TV showed a "No Signal" message, even though it had been working fine for weeks. I thought "no big deal" and switched the HDMI cable from port 3 to port 1. Problem solved. Now after being in port 1 for a few weeks, I'm getting the same "No Signal" message on the TV, even though I had played my PS3 around an hour before and shut it off for dinner. I've tried switching the cable back to port 3, but still get the "no Signal" message. I'm really scared to move the cable to port 2, because if that one decides to go (and right now, it seems like the odds are against me), then I won't have any working HDMI ports left. How the hell can a TV only a few months old already do this? Right now my TV, PS3, and power bar all have their power turned off, and I'm hoping they all work tomorrow...or the company is going to be getting an earful from me. I realize this isn't much of a rant, but it pisses me off that a TV I paid $450 of my hard earned money for not even a year ago is already acting up.

Like the topic says, I want to know what the crowds are like at Hershey on weekends in April...specifically, the last weekend/beginning of May. Are kids still in school at that time? Do they visit the park less on early season weekends? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When I heard you had to pay for some restaurants I was expecting prices higher than what's listed there. Those prices aren't bad at all; I'd be willing to give the Epic a try in the future.

The SkullCandy headphones I bought myself at Christmas are already broken. For there to be any sound I have to hold the wire in a precise position, or else it's just low vocals and quiet music. For the price you pay for their brand I'd expect a better quality product. Thank God for their warranty.

Had a poutine from one of the school cafeteria's today. Far from some of the good ones I've had, but at least the fries were just pulled out of the fryer.

What's everyone's opinion about possible division realignment? As a fan of a team in the AL East that isn't the Yankees or Red Sox, I think this can work out very well for teams that rarely stand a chance against the big spenders.

Saw Our Lady Peace performing their entire Clumsy CD before doing a selection of their other hits. The theater was tiny (only about 3000 seats), so it was a very close and intimate performance; it was awesome. The concert was incredible. Raine hasn't lost one ounce of his talent and amazing voice. I would love to see them again and hope I can again soon. Highlights of the night: Hearing all of Clumsy done live, acoustic version of Is Any Body Home?, and closing with Starseed

Prediction: If they actually do offer this extra £1 ticket, someone will buy it and, in a weird coincidence, get hurt on the ride. They will then proceed to claim the insurance from Alton Towers, who hopefully put some fine print on the ticket to back themselves out of the corner.

Yea, I read up on all the endings. I got the very good ending by saving all the little sisters and killing 2/3 NPCs. After watching all the endings on Youtube I gotta say the very good ending and the neutral ending with the "I miss you" both brought a tear to my eye. They were really good.

Game of the Year 2010?

If Cedar Fair were to take over, I can see SFDK to be one of the first parks to either be sold or closed. CF doesn't seem to like animal parks, and even if they took all the animals out, I can't see a park based so heavily on animals surviving very long without a lot of capital.

The level of Bioshock 2 where you play as a Little Sister and see Rapture through her eyes is awesome. edit - Just beat the game now with the happy ending. I ended up saving all the little sisters and the first person you decide the fate of. What ending did you end up getting? I just found out there are 4 of them. And I agree...I want Bioshock 3 now.
