Female themed coasters

^They were still there as of 2005, so I'd say Twisted Twins counts. -
Female themed coasters
Scaparri replied to USRoadTripper's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^Oh snap. I always thought they were themed to Inspector Gadget for some reason. Mainly 'cause he always said "go go gadget (insert gadget)", hence the name Gadget's Go Coaster. I guess I probably should have looked at the pics a little closer. My bad. Thanks Robb. -
Female themed coasters

Forgive me, 'cause I've never been to either of them, but how are the Gadget Go-Coasters female themed? -
Yeah, I loved the name, but at the same time, I think it's a really smart move and shows that Shapiro is trying to stick to his plan. As awesome as the name is, it's arguably not very family friendly. As CoasterDude5 said, at least they are finally using the DC Comic rights at this park a little more. I think just about any park that can boast a ride named Superman is going to have a little more marketing power. SFKK really could be a unique, cool park if it's maintained and managed properly. -Scott "now really get down to business and take out that lousy excuse for an inverted coaster, Mark" Parrish

Tennessee Tornado? Are you serious? I found it to be glass smooth like a new B&M. To each his own I guess. I'll second your Iron Wolf notion though. That used to be an amazing ride and now it just sucks. The roughest for me would probably be Manhattan Express or T2. Manhattan was bad, but I'd consider riding it again. T2 has gotten to a point where I refuse to ride it anymore. Not only am I trying to avoid getting a blood clot in my brain, but I'd like to have kids too.

I've stayed at the Baymont Inn in Gurnee, IL, right next to SFGAm. It was a very nice hotel, but I believe it was about $90 or 100 for the night. It's a little out of the way, but about 30 minutes southeast of Indiana Beach on I-65 is Lafayette, home of Purdue University. Since it's a college town, there are a lot of lodging options. I stayed at the Motel 6, and though I don't remember if there was breakfast, the room wasn't too bad and it was only $40 a night.

Mitch Hawker's Steel Poll - Now Open

^Julie, it would have been classified under "favorite zyklon loop anywhere." -
^I think the point he is trying to make is that since SF is under new management, you can't predict the future based on the past anymore. Shapiro obviously is trying to turn things around, but he's only had a year to do it so far. It's hard tellin' what he'll do. He's not the old Six Flags. You may be right, but we can't assume that's what they are going to do because that's what they've been doing the past several years. It's like having a new president that's of a different party now.

I'm just hoping Rex comes through this weekend. My gut says he's going to. He's had his problems this year, but he really is a great quarterback and I just don't see him having a repeat performance like the Green Bay game.

What was the Last Sporting Event you Attended
Scaparri replied to LOVE SFKK's topic in Random, Random, Random
If you count monster truck rallies, then the Columbus Monster Jam last weekend. If not, then the Butler vs. Cleveland State basketball game in December. -
Yeah, this pretty much stunned me. When the MLS passed the new rule allowing for an exception to the salary cap, I didn't actually expect them to be able to lure in anybody. But sure as the world, they pulled it off. I think its great for the MLS though. I'm stoked about it. It's enough to get me interested in driving to Columbus this summer to finally see a game. I'd love to see a few more moves like this.

I swear, some of the younger members on this site just try to make ridiculous posts.

1. I have a chronic fear that somebody is trying to break into my house at night. The only place I feel comfortable at night is at school in my apartment. 2. It really bothers me that I've never been outside of North America, or to the West Coast. 3. I hate most domestic beers 4. I'm obsessed with Jamba Juice 5. I love monster truck rallies, and actually travelled all the way to Las Vegas last March mainly to go to the Monster Jam world finals.

My gf surprised me with tickets to Lucky Boys Confusion the day of the show, which was at The Metro in Chicago. LBC and The Metro was awesome. Two of the three opening bands were awful though, and so was their fanbase.

I secretly love One Tree Hill I also absolutely love SFKK in all of it's ghetto glory.

Obliterated! The whole nation, especially the midwest, has been dogging the Gators for so long, it's nice to see them shut everybody up. As mentioned before, this just goes to show that the Big Ten is overrated. It was really awesome for me to watch Chris Leak host the crystal trophy. That kid has been so dedicated to winning a national championship ever since his freshman year, it hasn't even been funny. Good for him. And Troy Smith, he had a rough game, but what a class act. Jew, keep dreaming bud. Gainesville has gone Urban.

My Old English Teacher Gets Arrested!
Scaparri replied to SharkTums's topic in Random, Random, Random
In elementary school, there was a special education teacher that worked with hearing impared. He was always really friendly towards me (I'm not hearing impared, for the record), but sometimes so friendly it weirded me out. Even as a nine year old. As I continued on through jr. high and high school, I occasionally ran into the guy and he always remember who I am and continued to be friendly in an odd way. He asked me all sorts of questions, including where I was living these days. One day, after running into him in high school (he was my waiter at Cracker Barrel, and yes, he recognized me), I told my mom that there was something about the guy that just didn't seem right and that he's always come off to me as the type of guy to become a child molester. She thought I was crazy and didn't think anything of it. Five months later, she threw a newspaper down in front of me, pointing out an article saying that this guy had been charged with molesting a fifteen year old, hearing impared boy. I knew it. -
What Are Your "Coaster Goals" For 2007?
Scaparri replied to jappi's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Wild Escape Maverick Voyage Kentucky Rumbler Mystery Mine Hitting my 200th coaster would be nice as well. I'm currently at 174. Those are my modest goals for the year. -
So the Coney Island Cyclone, Villain, Voyage, Hades, etc are marketing deceptions because the structure is steel?

Mr. Freeze to turn RED!
Scaparri replied to adc9787's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Yeah, but keep in mind they already did the "Ride the new Superman Tower of Power" but 3 or 4 years ago. I don't really see there being much of an argument for it switching themes. I agree with Robb, and that it's just a poor choice of colors. -

Chemistry!!! Every day in class, I find myself asking "What's the point?" Yeah, it's important, but not for my major.
