  1. Yeah, have fun with that Elissa. It's days like those that I'm glad I'm a guy.
  2. Congrats Jeff! That's awesome!
  3. How on Earth do you get pulled over going 70 over and not get a ticket? Let alone get arrested!? Anyway, freakin' sweet TR Jarvis. Those pics are awesome. Especially that Tornado pic. Keep the updates coming. I'm counting down the days until April 13th.
  4. I've come to the conclusion that anybody who lives in Minnesota, or any other ridiculously cold place, should have the right to pleed insanity for any crime they commit, because if they choose to live in a place like that, then they must crazy.
  5. Sierra Mist Free with some Grenadine in it. If Grenadine wasn't straight sugar, I would chug the stuff.
  6. I watched National Lampoon's Vacation last night and now I really want to go to SFMM again. And by again, I mean, I've never been but I have the strong desire to go again. I don't care how crappy people say it is. One of these days I need to find out for myself.
  7. This is already being discussed here: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=24826
  8. The Boss at SFStL. It was so amazing during it's opening year, and then I went back two years later and discovered that it had become quite rough and brake raped. The same deal happened with Raging Bull. Raging Bull is still a great ride, but nothing like what it was during it's opening year.
  9. I've spent a semester at Butler University but it just hasn't been for me, so I'm transferring in January to the University of Tennessee. Good ole Rocky Top. Go VOLS! EDIT: I changed my mind. I'm still at Butler and I'm here to stay. GO DAWGS!
  10. I'm not sure if retracking is as much of the problem as the g-trains are. Either way, it's still an awesome ride.
  11. Yeah, I've done it. Definitely not nearly as good as cooked, but I'd eat it uncooked again.
  12. Wow. $4 billion is a crap ton of money for an amusement park. If this all comes to frusion, it could be one hell of a park. Sounds like they really have a good thing goin'. Scott "thought Garden Grove was just a Sublime song, not an actual place" P.
  13. ^Agreed. What once was a religious experience is now a lousy excuse for scenic railway, though yes, the double helix is still righteous. Raging Bull- I'd take off all the trims and have it run like it did in '99. Holy freakin' crap, what a ride that was. Boss- Can I cheat? Take off the trims and the g-trains. That thing was a monster during it's opening year. I guess if I had to pick one, then I'd go with taking off the g-trains. Titan/Goliath (SFMM)- Make the first drop steeper. When you're falling from that high, there's no reason not to make the drop a little steeper. For being so big, the drop is surprisingly boring because you're falling at the same, not terribly steep angle for so long.
  14. Accepted 9/10 I loved this movie. Thought it was hilarious, and though it appears to be your typical teen comedy, it stears away from the traditional perverted jokes and aims for a slightly cleaner (though sometimes vulgar) comedy that even has a little wittiness. There are a few holes in the story, but it's a comedy! It's a fun, hilarious movie that is definitely on my "to buy" list.
  15. Wow, what a brilliant move. If only more large cities would do this and start a trend.
  16. Well, it's always been SFKK and PKI, but starting in January, it will be Dollywood.
  17. "Southern State of Mind"- Stephen Kellogg
  18. Holy freakin' crap! That's awesome! Are they expanding the place somehow, 'cause it seemed when I went the room was spent. That really is great though. Amusement area maybe small, but it's really neat and I definitely enjoyed my visits there a few years ago.
  19. I'm moving to Knoxvegas!
  20. 93/100. I read a lot of books as a teen.
  21. Yeah, I'm really hoping it goes to MIA. The park has tons of land, and could really use a staple steel coaster. Seeing how the state has little to nothing, I think X-Flight could be a big hit over there for the crowd that they draw.
  22. Yeah, I pretty much saw this coming when Cedar Fair bought the place. I just didn't want to acknowledge it. I knew there was no way they were going to do a great deal with this park when CP is so close, as many people have already mentioned. Though it seems inevitable, I really don't want to see this park disappear. Under CF rule, yeah, it makes sense, but the whole lake scene is such an amazing setting for an amusement park. With the proper care and management it deserves, Geauga could be one heck of a park., but that's never going to happen if it's run by CF. So maybe closing is the best.
  23. Easily IOA. By far the best park I've ever been to. If IOA wasn't there, then it'd be a pretty hard choice.
  24. ^Exactly. I understand the argument that Michigan shouldn't get to play again, but I don't agree with it. For anybody who says that, does that mean that series in playoffs are stupid? Whoever wins the first game should move on? Yes, I really do understand the argument, but seriously, is there a better candidate? #2 Michigan lost to #1 OSU by three points. Three points. #3 USC spanked #5 Arkansas. The #2 Michigan spanked #6 Notre Dame. #4 Florida has struggled with a lot of less than stellar teams, and lost to #11 (at the time) Auburn. Not to mention, #4 Florida and #5 Arkansas, as well as #3 USC and #4 Notre Dame still have to square off. Oh, and #3 USC lost to an unranked Oregon State team. Might I remind everybody again that #2 Michigan lost by 3? I'm not trying to say I'm completely right. I too wish there was a different opponent, but is there a worthier oppenent? I honestly don't think so. I'm also a Florida fan though, so as Coaster Palooza just pointed out, I'm perfectly fine with second chances.
