  1. It can be more of a pain for the ride ops and cause the trains to stack more frequently. If the ride ops are constantly having to fasten seatbelts, it can take a lot of time when you don't have that much time before the other train comes back around. Also, a lot of rides, depending on the temperature, need to have nearly full trains to make it around the circuit, which can also lead to taking off a train if the line isn't consistent enough to keep the trains loaded.
  2. Best Fries: Potato Patch at Kennywood If you go to Six Flags Great America, you have to try the Fiesta Fries. Best Ice Cream: Graeter's at Paramount's Kings Island If you go to Michigan's Adventure, you have to try the frozen pie slices. If you go to Six Flags Over Texas, you have to try a Pink Thing.
  3. Thanks a lot Wally and Derek. And no Wally, that definately isn't the CP housing, thank god. I bid that place adieu. If you guys know of any good brews available nationwide or in the Indy area, let me know.
  4. I go for the brunettes personally. Not to bring the blonde stereotype up, but it seems to be true all too often.
  5. Ah, finally, my first beer review. I just turned 21 so I haven't had a chance to explore too much into the microbreweries nor am I terribly familiar with the terminology so please bear with me. Here's my first beer on the big day, a Leinenkugel's Berry Weiss. I was quite impressed. It has a very nice, sweet blackberry flavor to it, with a crisp wheat after taste. I'm definately a big fan. Leinenkugel's Berry Weiss
  6. Mine is me on the bumper cars at SFOT (did they remove them this year?). It's my "You're about to get jacked" face.
  7. Nice to see this thread has been revived. I just transferred to Butler University from Indiana University. I all but hated my time at IU and also realized what major I wanted to pursue which wasn't at IU. I'll be studying mechanical engineering and physics. I'm still kind of surprised I even got into the school but can't wait to go! I've got 4 days until I move in! That's awesome man. I have a friend that is going to be a freshman there as well. Good luck and live it up.
  8. I just bought a brand new lap top. Now I have to wait like two weeks before I finally get it.

  10. I transferred to Butler University in Indianapolis and can't wait to move into my brand spanking new apartment on the 15th. As for bad stories, the guys next door to me my freshman year at IU were probably the worst pairing ever. One was a gay and obsessed with Broadway while the roommate was a homophobic jock. Talk about awkward.
  11. Artist: The Format Album: Dog Problems Price: $13.99 (recently marked down to $8.99 ) Tracks: 12 Rating: 3.5 ... The album has some really good songs on it, but there are a lot of songs that are less than stellar. They just feature really weird instrumentals and awkward melodies. The album is nothing compared to their previous album, Interventions & Lullabies.
  12. I have an obsession with Indycar racing and the Indy 500. It definately rivals and maybe even surpasses coasters. And with the statistics mentioned earlier, I'm one of those that fall into that 80% of males obsessed with Lou.
  13. aw come on, its not that bad -Im "not afraid to admit I love me some Gwazi!!!" hotep Agreed! I love Gwazi. I have no idea what everybody is talking about, but whatever. Anyway, it's really too bad for this man. Definately sad. I really hope the family doesn't get sue happy though.
  14. Beast- top of the second lift for about ten minutes. Adventure Express- last lift for about twenty minutes Twisted Twins- ended up having to walk down the lift. Spiderman- I know it's not a coaster, but it was cool 'cause I got to walk out of it and see the ride with the lights on.
  15. Awesome!! I'm a huge race fan so I'm loving the whole rally theme going on.
  16. I'm personally a bigger fan of facebook. MySpace has it's advantages with being able to be friends with anybody and find new music, but Facebook is simpler and I knew of it long before I knew of MySpace.

Just surprised I still haven't ridden Voyage yet.
  18. While working at CP last year, one night we had a pretty severe storm and the next day was very hot and extremely humid. It was unreal. I kid you not, it was so humid, that you could not see the mainland from MF's station. The air just blended in with the lake. I've never seen anything like it. It was so miserably hot and humid. Another day, we had a severe storm (black clouds and all) roll in. There were tornado warnings in the area and everything. It was absolutely pouring, but it was lateral rain and no matter where you stood inside MF's station, you got wet. That was pretty bad.
  19. No, I don't really have any intentions. I'm not a big fan of the comic based movies. I've enjoyed the two Spidermans though.
  20. I would make sure that Lake Winnie was always around.
  21. Wow, that's awesome dude. It's really great to see so much support for the NHL in a place like North Carolina. That had to be amazing to see your team win the Cup. Now I'm just awaiting the day I see my team win a game. Go Blues!
  22. This is my kind of weekend. Indycar race, Champ Car race, F1 race, and even Nascar is on a road course so there is slight interest.
  23. Yeah, the ride wouldn't be so bad if it was smooth. It's not even so much bone-jarring rough, but rather neck-cracking rough.
