  1. I guess my most recent example would be Top Gun The Jet Coaster. I mean, it was good, but I'd heard from so many people say that it's the best B&M invert ever built. In all honesty, It's probably my least favorite of the B&M inverts I've been on. The first drop was awesome, the layout was fun, but it didn't seem to pack the same punch that rides like Montu and Raptor do. The inversions weren't quite as intense and the ending was kind of weak. Yet again, it was still a pretty good ride though.
  2. Awesome. I might have to try and get off work for this. The ride looked sweet enough during the construction tour. Now after riding Thunderhead for the first time yesterday, I'm desperate to get on Rumbler. Hopefully it works out.
  3. I just went to Carowinds two days ago and suffered quite a bit of Anticipointment on Top Gun. It was good, but by no means the best B&M invert I've been on. The first drop was righteous, but the rest of the ride was not all that intense (compared to many other inverts) and the ending left something to be desired. Don't get me wrong, it was still a great ride. Maybe I just rode it too early in the morning. Who knows. Guess it's a matter of opinion. 1. Montu 2. Raptor 3. Dueling Dragons 4. BTR clones 5. Alpengeist
  4. Italian Job! Few enthusiasts like these rides, but I absolutely love it! I think they are a blast. They aren't incredible fast or long, but if you get into the theming, it's a lot fun. Plus, the ride does some funky movements that not many coasters do. Runaway Mountain at SFOT is another. This thing is crazy. With the exception of a couple of exit signs, the building is pitch black. The ride is glass smooth and the drop in the middle of the ride is absolutely insane. I just wish it was longer.
  5. I just bought tickets to see Ben Harper in Indy on August 31st. I'm psyched.
  6. "Steal My Kisses" by Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals
  7. Just another funny example of personal opinion and tolerance, I was on it about two weeks ago and I got off thinking "wow, that was just as bad as everybody said it was." It was a unique rough though. The main problem was that the terrible transitions made for getting popped in the neck everytime the thing turned.
  8. I'm a HUGE Indycar fan. It's the main reason why I don't make it to more parks every year. I generally spend a lot more money going to races than I do parks. I'll be at Indianapolis Motor Speedway during a great deal of this upcoming month for all the track activities that lead up to (and including) the Indy 500. I'm also a fairy big hockey fan and a little bit of a baseball fan. For the most part though, I don't really care for pro sports and will take college sports any day.
  9. The Santa Monica West Coaster at Pacific Pier. It's in everything.
  10. Just so you all know from the beginning, my money is on a launched coaster from S&S (Powder Keg style) that is the longest coaster in the world. Yeah, kind of sounds over the edge, but I have a hunch. Who knows. Just a silly prediction, right?
  11. I think I might have one or two still. I've only bought like four in my entire life. I used to have a T2 shirt and Chang shirt from back before Six Flags owned Kentucky Kingdom, and I had two Mr. Freeze shirts from SFSL. One from opening year, and another from 2000.
  12. When I was 17, I was going 75 mph (I used to be a complete idiot) on a country road and lost control of my car. I shot off the road, hit a ditch and flipped four times. Because I was in the middle of nowhere. I had to walk over a mile with half my head covered in blood to an elementary school to get help. I actually didn't feel any pain because of the adrenaline rush I had, but I do have permanent back damage from it though. There are quite a few coasters out there that I can only ride once because they just put me in too much pain. Texas Giant and Georgia Cyclone come to mind.
  13. Yeah, without a doubt Hades. It's hard to beat going 65+mph in a seemingly endless pitch black tunnel that does things a wooden coaster has never done before.
  14. I've seen Batman at SFGAm without any of the wheel covers on it. I have a picture, but unfortunately it's not a digital pic and I don't have a scanner. It's definately odd to see a train without the covers though.
  15. I am dating the most amazing girl.
  16. I would have to say that CP's probably has the best, though I'm a really big fan of SFOT's and SFGAm's (don't have a picture of GAm) Kind of a crappy picture, but you get the idea.
  17. 3 Doors Down O.A.R. Less Than Jake Bowling For Soup AFI Simple Plan The Used Joey Fatone of NSYNC Chad Michael Murray Marc Broussard John Mellencamp Bob Knight Rex Grossman Larry Brown Grant Hill Lebron James Ken Griffey Jr. Mario Andretti Juan Pablo Montoya Pretty much anybody that races in Indycar and quite a few lesser known bands I feel like I've met a lot of famous people, but most are just famous in my world, like the Indycar drivers.
  18. Coasterfool: 152. Hopefully I'll break 200 by the end of the year.
  19. Well, the dollar coin was pretty much nonexistant as far as use went until like six years ago when they decided to come out with a new version. It's still not very popular. There just isn't much point for it.
  20. I can't say it influenced me so much. I was an enthusiast before RCT came out. If anything, it just allowed to let my imagination run loose.
  21. I find it really funny that it is acceptable in society to spend your time and money sitting silent in a tree for hours straight trying to kill an animal (often times not succeeding), or sit in a boat from sun up to sun down trying to catch fish (often times not catching much), but it's weird to spend your time and money riding thrill rides and going to amusements parks, something that most people generally think of as being fun.
  22. "Smile Like You Mean It" by The Killers
  23. ^We have one here in Bloomington, IN. I've actually never bothered to go, but will probably hit it up this summer sometime.
  24. I'm actually a shift leader at Cold Stone. Yeah, a lot of people think it's over priced, but at the same time, a lot of people think it's the best ice cream they've ever had. If you think about it, you don't go into Carrabba's or Olive Garden and complain that Fazoli's is cheaper.
