hansrubens
^ We've scheduled Hersheypark on our tour on may 23 and 24 So it would be great if it opens a few days earlier.

coasterfreak101
I'm so excited to ride this. I dunno if 97* makes much of a difference, but it looks like it would provide a great sensation. And that norwegian loop looks fantastic. The trains are cute, too .
FeelTheFORCE
Looking great! Those trains looks exactly like Maverick's.
DRACHEN_FIRE_FAN-BOY
man, maybe I should make a pit-stop in Penn in late May.... and I finally might get a Norwegian Loop!
PKI Jizzman
Awesome stuff, looks like you will get a small taste of Maverick while riding this ride! Hopefully there won't be as bad as a shuffle in the back seat, though...
CoasterEricHP
Looking good! Thanks for sharing the pictures! Leaving the station and seeing that lift hill in front of you is going to be really intimidating!

ahecht
The official page for the pictures, for some additional info is: http://www.brandonscoasters.com/rcdbhersheyfahrenheit1.htm Is it just me, or are there no anti-rollback devices? Having two chains isn't enough if they are both connected to the same sprocket and drive motor.
SLUSHIE
Is it just me, or are there no anti-rollback devices? Having two chains isn't enough if they are both connected to the same sprocket and drive motor. I'm sure the motor has some sort of anti-rollback mechanism inside of it. There two chains is probably in case one of them snaps. Really no idea though. One could be used to lower the train slowly backwards in an emergency. That staircase looks like a whole lot of fun. Kennyweird
Is it just me or are those trains like, kinda small?
Swimace
^^^ I think it's like that so that in case they need to evacuate a train on the lift they can reverse the lift and lower the trains back down. I'm pretty sure it was discussed earlier in this thread, but I'm too lazy to dig it up.

Having two chains isn't enough if they are both connected to the same sprocket and drive motor. Yeah, I noticed that a while ago. it would make sense if there were 2 seprate motors, but it seems like it will run off of 1. The trains look awesome, but the seats show've been the color of the supports; they look too dark.
