Voxelmatic Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 ^ ^That just doesn't look right... In a good or bad way? Because I honestly think it's going to be insane.
coasterfreak101 Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 That's the most ridiculous and wonderful shaping I've ever seen on a barrel roll. I don't know what RMC is on when they design their rides, but I'm all for it!
Manic Monte Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 This is easily my most anticipated coaster of 2013.
CpBluestreakCp Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Whoa, that barrel roll looks insane!
jray21 Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Wow! The barrel roll off the cliff looks amazing!
cal1br3tto Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 I'm not generally afraid of coasters, but some of these pics I've seen lately are enough to strike fear in my heart.
aLFREd_25 Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 ^That just doesn't look right... I thought the same thing when I saw it. I think it's because the inversion is more on the accent, where as it levels off a little after the full inversion. With that being said, the whole element, and ride for that matter, is going to awesome. I can't wait!
BrandonR Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 If ever there was an element that can make me crap my pants, that would be it.
RCT3Bross Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 I really need to ride this ride as soon as possible. Damn why can't I go this year and have to wait an other year.
Mrlittle Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 I'm not generally afraid of coasters, but some of these pics I've seen lately are enough to strike fear in my heart. You can hold my hand during your first ride.
robbalvey Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Ok, so let's get everyone updated with the official ride layout and all these awesome new pics!
ernierocker Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 (edited) I am kind of glad they didn't put a worthless helix at the end as the ride now seems to utilize every bit of track with pure awesomeness. Edited February 15, 2013 by ernierocker
boardwalkbullet91507 Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 I am kind of glad they didn't put a worthless helix at the end as the ride now seems to utilize every bit of track with pure awesomeness. Now that i think about it there isnt much they could have done with that area. Its too small.
ArizonaGuy Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 ^^ All they probably could have done with that area which would have kinda been cool would have been to do a banked curve against the station right before going back over RRE and then into the break run. Either way....just by looking that these pics, that drop after the 2nd overbanked curve is gonna be awesome diving off the cliffside heading down to the bottom of the quarry before shooting straight up towards the barrel roll.
RyanGsatMCO Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 I am confused... I have no idea what is going on anymore... This ride makes no sense! Honestly I look at the pictures now and I just don't know what to think. How is it possible? Is this real life?
thrillerman1 Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Is this real life? Is this just fantasy?
Ccron10 Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Is this real life? Is this just fantasy? Caught in a landslide. No escape from reality. Couldn't resist. That zero-g-roll looks like nothing but pure awesomeness! So as far as trackwork goes, how much left still needs to be added?
ArizonaGuy Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Pretty much #7 on the diagram is left which is the camelback airtime hill dropping into the tunnel including the track in the tunnel. That should be all that's left for the track installation, then they have to install the 2nd layer of steel on the top part of the track throughout the entire coaster.
Wes Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Ok, so let's get everyone updated with the official ride layout and all these awesome new pics!
Double0Kevin Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 ^ That pretty much nails my reaction when I saw that.
RCT3Bross Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Those pictures are just candy to the eye. Man one insane looking ride.
cfc Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Gotta give the Texas parks and RMC some credit--first, New Texas Giant, and now, Iron Rattler!
schotj Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Ok, so let's get everyone updated with the official ride layout and all these awesome new pics! I can see the train absolutely FLYING through that section of the ride. Thing's gonna be great.
