I know I'm gonna get yelled at for saying this, but after reading the Da Vinci Code the whole Bible seems out fo whack, not that I believe the ENTIRE book just some. Besides, my demonintions outreach program specifically questions why we don't ALL accept gays. Anyhow ^ didn't you move out cause your bi? And Blazen are you bi/gay?

Read Holy Blood, Holy Grail; The Messianic Legacy; and some of the books on the Nag Hammadi Library if you want to have your entire view thrown out of whack. Now there is some stuff in HBHG that is false, but many things that are also very true. Read up on the Cathars and the Gnostics... Also look into the religions of aincent sumeria and egypt and how they influenced the Old Testament.

Just come home with a naked man and tell them he is your husband. That's an excellent way to come out to the parents

Um, I'm trying to let my mom know I'm bi, NOT give her a heart attack

The thing is I DON'T want my whole view thrown out of whack.

The Da Vinci code is a story like the bible ... not facts

Most definitely, but it does give insight into some alternate ideas about christianity and SOME of the ideas of the Gnostic and the Cathar sects of Christianity... Reading some of the books that the Council of Nicea removed from the canon really give you a new outlook on what christianity could have been.

Seeking knowledge is the purest thrill i can imagine. I get just as much joy in a library as i do in a theme park...

^That's my plan, tell my parents I'm gay when I'm in college (or when I don't need as much support as I do now ) But, while they don't know (even thought they totally think I'm gay), there's A LOT of people in my school that know, basically because I told a few and one told 2 more and they told more and they...you get the point.

I don't care if my friends (or not friends) know, everyone I know is okay with it. But not my parents, I don't think they would support it.

my school actually has a club for gay teens. which i think is sorta dumb because its just human nature to be curious about the same sex between the ages of 13-17. Most of the time, people grow out of it.

(i wanna be a sex therapist when i grow up, )

No, it is just human nature (I hope) to be curious. It is just human nature to be horny between the ages of 13-17 (or perhaps 117). If you'll pull out a psych of sex or human development textbook you'll find stages called Latency and Puberty that indicate it is typical for heterosexuals to be (and homosexuals to feel pressured to be) curious about the opposite sex starting at about 11. It is possible that horniness could cause curiousity about anything sexual around the same time. Having never been a teenage male I can't be sure, but I think it is more likely that denial ain't just a river in Egypt.

My high school only had about 800 students...and while I didn't tell my parents or siblings that I was gay until this past janurary...the only people that knew then (graduated in 04) was my friends. I did fear at one time that they wouldn't accept me if I told them, but they don't treat me any different than before. Now my school, if someone suspected you the least bit as being bi, gay or lesbian...then surely everybody would find out. Not many people really cared once they found out about me, but then you always have that one group of people that just don't like you and/or the fact that you are bi, gay or lesbian. I found myself in a few arguments and almost a fight with "those" people, but after a while I said whatever...I should have never let them get to me like that. Oh, well..i'm glad all that's over with.
