You said it Larry! It went from $3.59 up to $3.99 at my usual station. While I feel for the folks dealing with Ike's aftermath (been there and my heart goes out to you, truly), it's just another lame excuse to gouge, via the speculators. Total garbage and shameful. And I'll stop the b****ing there.

Actually a lot of cabbies are complaining (with sporadic protests at City Hall and slowdowns) because their pricing system is regulated and has not kept up with the price of gas increases over the past few years.

Its £1.12 a litre at the moment.

 

Thats £5.04 a gallon roughly. Thats roughly $9.01 a gallon if I converted it to US money.

I was happy to see the prices down to $3.38 today when I drove by the gas station on my way to school. That's good considering I filled up last week at $3.65

More than half of Atlanta is still out of gas. Every where i go gas stations are closed. Even if we do find gas, it's a minimum of $3.90

Around my home the prices is like 7,65 USD a gallon

In myrtle beach it has went from 3.99 to 3.60 in two weeks. Upstate sc is running out and people are in trouble up there. A lot more busses have stoped their routes and people are really using bikes to get around.

^Lucky. It's been $3.89 here ever since Ike. At least that's how much it costs at the stations that actually HAVE gas.

It seemed like just 3 weeks ago I was paying close to $4.50 a gallon. Today I was in shock to see it down to $3.40!!

What I thought was weird was that, here at an Iowa BP in Belle Plain, it costs less for silver than it does for regular. $3.24 maybe and $3.48 I think. And neither of the states I've traveled through so far (Illinois, Ohio, Iowa, Indiana, you get the picture) have had any fuel shortages so far.

I paid 3.69 for premium today, and cheapest gas in town was 3.49. I'm amazed that prices are dropping! Lets hope for under $3 again!

$3.53 here in Winter Haven, Florida. It's not the lowest in the country, but at least it's nowhere near the highest.

Regular is dipping as low as $3.45 in Florida. Premium is $3.69 now, I breathe a little sigh of relief.
