ALthough MF is my favorite, I have to say that Gemini is a pretty underrated coaster. It never fails to give a fun ride. Pretty good airtime as well.

^ Magnum is soo weird though, it's such a hit or miss coaster. One time I'll go there and it's running so fantastically, being fairly smooth and having great airtime The next time I go, it'll be rough and the roughness just kills anything good it has..

Easiest question ever, Maverick! No other coaster there even comes close.

 

I'm actually glad I live so far away from the park, because if I lived anywhere close to Cedar Point I could see myself having an unhealthy relationship with the ride.

I love Magnum. It's the last coaster that really had me scared the first time I rode it, and that was back in '89.

Magnum has a very special place in my heart. It's big and fast and feels like you could be thrown into the lake at any moment. What else could you want in a coaster? The atmosphere the year it opened was the best ever.

Millennium Force.

 

I have never had such a fun and thrilling ride. On the first ride I came off stunned. I don't look at rides for how much "airtime" or "forces" they have to determine how good they are. At the end of the day, they can never make a ride by themselves. I go for fun factor and excitement. The conbernation of elements on the ride are spot on.

 

2nd would be Maverick. Its just so wild, with such a mixture of elements that makes it amazing. If you ever get the chance to ride at the front, in the dark, in the rain you're in for a treat!

 

3rd is obviously Dragster. The launch on the front row is just something else. So is hitting that mist at the end of it The first time I rode it was in low cloud. That is rather strange seeing a fine fog below you. Then to hammer around that roll is great. Its a fantastic ride.

 

Next Wicked Twister. I didn't expect much from it. But I was shocked. It was great.

 

5th goes to Magnum. Those last hills are the shizzle.

Didn't bother with the kiddies and Wild Cat was broken most of the time.

1) Millennium Force- still my overall #1 and was scared s***less when I rode it because of the drop when it opened in 2000, just love the speed and elements, can't get enough of it.

2) Top Thrill Dragster- wasn't expecting much from it honestly but man the lap bar makes the ride that much better, the freedom on the launch and the spiral drop allow for a free, scary experience, so awesome.

3) Maverick- out of control experience, the launched lift hill then the launch under the station make this one very unique!

4) Raptor- My first B&M invert, despite it being over 15 years old now it's still one of the most popular coasters there (last time I was there it still attracted a near full queue in the middle of the day.

5) Wicked Twister- Love impulse coasters, but the height and double spike on this make this the best of them all.

Out of what I have ridden:

 

1) Maverick - Blew my mind, my second ride was at night in the front seat and it was absolutely insane.

2) Millennium Force - Pretty good ride, I love the size and the speed but it still doesn't beat Maverick.

3) Magnum - I had a great ride last time I rode it, lots of airtime.

4) Wicked Twister - I rode in the back seat last time I was there I loved it. It actually goes pretty fast and the spiral up the back tower was awesome.

5) Raptor - I love a good B&M invert and that last helix was a great end to the ride.

6) Mantis - Sort of a disappointment, but still a fun ride.

8) Iron Dragon - what a boring ride...

9) Disaster Transport - lol wut?

10) Mean Streak - the most boring coaster I've ever ridden. I rode it back in 2003 in the back seat. There was no airtime on any hill, it was slow and I decided I would never ride it again.

 

I did not get to ride Top Thrill Dragster last year on opening weekend because the train couldn't make it over the hill on the first launch, but it did every time on the second launch. It was closed for at least 2-3 hours that day...I wanted to ride so I could get a roll back, but they loaded 2-4 people on each train and I would have had to wait 5 hours to ride - which one of my friends did do. It was a huge disappoint for me, but I am glad I went and rode other rides.
