dandaman Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 It's blazin' today (record highs in the lower 80's) but in a couple of days our lows will be in the 30's...
gisco Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 It's blazin' today (record highs in the lower 80's) but in a couple of days our lows will be in the 30's... Â 80's is Blazin'? Around here we call that a California Classic. It is supposed to be 83 today!
dandaman Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 ^^It's blazin' for an Ontario autumn! Two years ago today was our first snowfall of the season!
chmilo24 Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 Today was very strange. I woke up and it was freezing in my house, I walked around my house in a sleeping bag. But at around 10:00am it was around 89 degrees! I was in a long sleeve tee-shirt and a sweater and I was sweating. Tomarrow should be like today though. Â --Chris
hansrubens Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Winter has started in Holland. Hail, snow and strong winds.
DiSab Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 It's been cold here for the past few days. We had our first snowfall two days ago (even though it was only flurries), although there hasn't been any accumulation at all. My desktop forecast reads 28*F outside right now. The worst part of it being that the insulation on my windows has to be completely shot - it feels just as cold in my room as it is outside. Hell, I can barely type on my keyboard correctly with my frozen fingers. I wouldn't be surprised to wake up one of these days and find that its snowing inside my room. I may have to make a call to Campus Maintenance to see if they can fix the insulation before it gets too cold. Â And as a side note, I've still been wearing shorts to class most every day. I'm sure I'll have frostbite before long, but it helps me wake up during the 15 minute walk to class. I plan to keep wearing shorts until snow keeps me from safely wearing them - unless I feel really BAMF and just keep wearing them all winter.
Groteslurf Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Yesterday I woke up in a white Hamburg. Today back at home, snow arrived here too.
terrancew_hod Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Partly cloudy and in the 70's. Â Hope the weather holds for next week, although it would be nice to be clear and in the 80's for the beach party next sunday. Nicer weather = bigger attendance. Â Terry
nay Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 It's freakin' COLD today! Way below normal, struggling to get into the upper 30's in NY today. I'm SO ready to head back to Florida in a few weeks!
Troll Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Its snowing here!! We have about 1 inch on the ground and it's still coming down. We hardly ever get snow and so everyone on the road is going around at 20mph.
Groteslurf Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 ^ Same here. Â I hope the snow will be gone by tomorrow morning when I have to drive to work.
socalMAN123 Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Cloudy, foggy, cool (like 60 degrees). All the weather I like and the weather Southern Californians hate. ---Brent
thrillgeek Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Right now it's calm and clear in the mid 60's. During the day it's pretty much stayed the same way except it's been really foggy lately for some reason.
Loefet Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 We just got 2 more inches of snow, so we are now at a total of 8". Hopefully they will get out early to plow so I don't have to trudge through it all on my way to the University in an hour.
hansrubens Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 It's freezing cold here and they're forecasting 10 degrees Fahrenheit for tuesday and wednesday night. Â The only fun fact about it is that we can do some ice skating again. Â Â ----Hans
chmilo24 Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 It is about 45 degrees right now, and it has been misty and sprinkling all day. But tomarrow should be clear. Â --Chris
Wood Dragon 1988 Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 It is not too bad in southern Maryland right now. It was in the 40s today but I didn't need a jacket for my quarter mile walk out of my car to my office today. Â There is a winter storm watch though. I love DC area weathermen.
stuartnz Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 It's the middle of summer here! Perfect weather
Sasquatch Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Here its -2C in the day and -6C at night... BRRRRRRRRR!!
