ytterbiumanalyst Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 I guess you meant fourty, Henry? I did mean fourty I doubt that. There's no such word as "fourty." I know, I was quoting him as a joke. I found it more funny than it really was. I thought that was how you spelled it in the UK? No, it's spelled "forty" everywhere.
KingRCT3 Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 That's how a dumb frenchy spells it, tho. My bad. - Look at that Halloween girl, it's so awesome (put the sound on!): [fbvideonew]https://www.facebook.com/9gag/videos/10155082769641840/[/fbvideonew] I'm dead.

What you guys choose to do with it is up to you, but leaving the 'U's' out of words like Colour and Neighbour is just unforgivable.

Henry M Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 I keep comming to this thread for something on Ferrari World. Lets just drop this thing on grammar, I made a thread for literature confusion, and if you want to continue this discussion, continue that thread there.
Trevor Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 I would like to share with you some pictures of the S&S towers being installed: PAC
RyanTPM Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 ^Looking pretty good, compliments the coaster nicely.
JordyC Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 Update: Building Ferrari Land You can use the English subtitles for the Spanish parts. The English part starts at 0:50.
Trevor Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 Quick update on the project: the S&S Towers are already built and tests have been already done. S&S Towers test: VIDEO 1 VIDEO 2 Skyline: Complete skyline with Hurakan Condor, Shambhala and Ferrari rides: We are ALL waiting to see the trains running on the Intamin coaster. The tests should be this week!! [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
rcjp Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 Well those towers went up fairly quickly. Looking forward to testing footage of the intamin
Dar Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 Correct me if I'm wrong (I'm sure you will), but doesn't the location of the train imply that it's already tested?
rcjp Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 ^Maybe. I just don't know how far back they can have the train go from the station so maybe yes maybe not.
RyanTPM Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 God the theming they've added to the top of those towers look very ugly. The coaster and towers do look impressive next to each other though that's for sure!
scottjenkins Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 Correct me if I'm wrong (I'm sure you will), but doesn't the location of the train imply that it's already tested? this has made my monday thank you
Trevor Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 Correct me if I'm wrong (I'm sure you will), but doesn't the location of the train imply that it's already tested? That is a good comment. As you can see in picture below, just where the train is located there are some neumatic wheels underneath the train. It is true that we don't know if the train came from the brakes or went backwards from the transfer track.... from what we know, nobody saw a test and there is no official communication about it.
oriolat Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 Welcome to Six Flags Salou! And yet after months of being erected, no signs of testing. Heck, even the horrid S&S towers have been put together and tested...
ImNotOneOfYou Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 Welcome to Six Flags Salou! And yet after months of being erected, no signs of testing. Heck, even the horrid S&S towers have been put together and tested... The white looks so vibrant in that picture Is that a mountain on the right or clouds deceiving me
Arn'O Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 OMG Now that skyline is even more impressive than because of Ferrari Land! Wou that really looks awesome!

From Barcelona airport we had to go through them to reach the park!

_koppen Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 I must have missed earlier, but 1.35G launch. That's a bit disappointing. I can't blame them for going magnetic though!
Projektion Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 Wouldn't be so sure. 1.35g puts it about on par with TTD. Though, I admit it probably won't maintain that force for the whole launch if the "...in 5 seconds" bit is true.
RollerManic Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 ^Wow, that chart is really handy. It puts into perspective for me the force of a launch. I remember Alan Schlike bragging about Lightning Rod's 1G launch being very intense in a documentary, which bewildered me greatly.. I couldn't determine if he was being serious or just saying that for PR reasons.
