Someotherguyuser Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Strangely enough, it was some odd-ball looping roller coaster at the O.C. Fair. I was a bout seven when I did that.
sfog1985 Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Mind Bender at SFoG back in 1995, at the age of 10. It also served as only my second "true" (non-kiddie) coaster after having first ridden their Mine Train 2 years earlier. I've never been quite the same since then, some 200 or so coasters later...
Moose Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 I'm not exactly sure which it was, but I know it was at Busch Gardens Tampa, and I suspect it was python. Istill remember how scared I was that I would fall out on the lift and the arrow predrop. Â It's sort of sad that my first coaster and first coaster with inversions are both gone. I guess I'm getting old
jonnyfingers Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 Dragon Khan at Port Aventura. Not a bad coaster to pop my inversion cherry on!
Bryce232 Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 Scorpion at Busch Gardens Tampa, I closed my eyes on the loop the first time I rode it. I've gone from that to holding my hands up on Kingda Ka
TPDave Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 When I was 8 I went to Alton Towers with my family and me and my dad ran to Nemesis first thing only for me to get scared and chicken out! So later in the day we were near Ug land and decided to ride the corkscrew (which I actually really liked, I was an odd 8 year old!).  Basically my first looping coaster could have been Nemesis and ended up being the Corkscrew  Dave "dammit" Wilson
jammy2by4 Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 Mine was Daemonen (The Demon) at Tivoli Gardens. Â
SixFlagsNewOrleans Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 Greezed Lightin at Astroworld USA.
-Edge of Beast- Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 I don't know if I commented on this thread yet, but Boomerang at Worlds of Fun was the first coaster I rode with inversions.
screaminkid2005 Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 My first was Flashback at SFNE when i was 10!
RoCo Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 Knott's Berry Farm's Corkscrew. And it BLEW MY FREAKING MIND, MAN.
australianalex Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 Cyclone at Dreamworld. Just a big arrow looper, nothing too exciting Emarassingly, to date Ive only ridden one other inverting coaster and that was an SLC. The only other inverting coasters we have available here is an El Loco, a Maurer Sohne Skyloop and an Arrow Corkscrew. Yes we have a painfully restricted amount of coasters here
cityeighteen Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 SooperDooperLooper at Hersheypark was my first.
slappybob Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 My first coaster with an inversion was Tennessee Tornado
xChris125x Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 Steel Phantom - Kennywood. So glad I got that credit.
dominoes Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Colossus at Thorpe Park. Got tricked onto it by a "friend"...
cfc Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 (edited) Mine was the old Corkscrew at Knott's back when I was a wee lad. Sigh! I miss the old Roaring 20s and Roaring 20s Airfield. Â Â Photo from rcdb.com Edited December 27, 2011 by cfc
swiver Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Anaconda at King's Dominion! I want to say it was in 1998?
