PAL Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 Corkscrew at Knotts Berry Farm the year it debuted. Blink and it was over. The ride was all about those two brief inversions, I remember the odd feeling of twisting head over heels. Â I also rode the Great American Revolution at Magic Mountain its first year. Unlike Corkscrew, this was a damn good ride even before that tall vertical loop made it into the equation. It was my first coaster love, and even though the old girl's not aged well, I still like her moves. PLEASE Magic Mt, rip out those horrid over the shoulder head-bangers.
freddycoasterkid Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 Mine was Colossus at Thorpe Park when I was 10 years old on my own as well!
KnottsDisneyFarm Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 ^Nice avatar dude! Â Montezooma's Revenge - KBF Â I remember thinking I was going to fall out of the seat.
B&Mmmmm Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Technically my first inverting coaster was Air - Alton Towers, but that might count as it's inversions aren't really upside-down, but laying down. My first real upside down coaster was Rage at Adventure Island, earlier this year. It's a fun ride; nothing special, but it's still much better than Saw
Philrad71 Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Viper at Darien Lake...had my eyes closed the entire time!
themeparkologist Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Orient Express at WoF R.I.P. I had my eyes closed the whole time and come to find out, it was in its last two weeks of operation.
