bigdaniel Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 I guess it was Superwirbel at Holiday Park, but I don't know it exactly. Greetings Daniel
Powermage Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 the first one was the first Vekoma SLC: El Condor @ Walibi flevo (now known as Walibi World)
JuanSe_Colombia Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 Mine was Corkscrew at Salitre Magico
fakestar Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 Mine was Corkscrew at Salitre Magico Either that or Python at BGA is mine, although that was when the Corkscrew was at Magic Harbour in Myrtle Beach.
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 It was the Tornado at walibi belgium (the first coaster made by vekoma): Actually that was the boomerang in Six Flags Mexico.
apollo210 Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 ^That was the first boomerang, not the first Vekoma Coaster. Tornado was the first Vekoma and the fist Vekoma known to have been scraped (haha)!
Jim Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 Mine was the King Kobra at Kings Dominion. I wish it was still there instead of Anaconda.
krazekiddd Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 Shockwave at SFOT. Actually that was my very first coaster ever and I was forced on it no less when I was 7!
jason10 Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 Mine was Corkscrew at Alton Towers. It hurt but everyone has to start somewhere.
Moose Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 My first big person coaster and coaster with inversions was Python at BGA, though i think at the the time it was Busch Gardens, the Dark Continent. I remember being scared, absolutely squeezing my father's hand.
verticalzero Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 The Corkscrew at Alton Towers was my 1st time for inversions in the early 80's
TheArchfiend Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 Lochness Monster for me and that was also my first EVER coaster way back in 1989. Then I went on to ride the Laser at Dorney Park and said; "Hey! Aren't these looping coasters supposed to have some kind of over the shoulder restraint?!" To this day I am amazed that no one has plummeted to their untimely death out of the Laser.
cray hail Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 The Great American Scream Machine (SFGADV.) in 2003.
HAJiME Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 Leathal Weapon at Movie World Asutralia. Woo, SLC goodness.
JuanSe_Colombia Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 Corkscrew at Salitre Magico Corkscrew
coasterman7 Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 My first upside-down roller coaster was the now defunct Viper at SFoG.
christianscoasters Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 I can't really remember which one exactly, but I can narrow it down to three. Boomerang or Orient Express at Worlds Of Fun, or Mind Eraser at SFEG.
kennywood!007 Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 My first was Double Loop at Geauga Lake..what a fun ride. I will always remember my expressions on these loops. lol
terrancew_hod Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 The now defunct "Jet Scream" as Six Flags over Mid-America (now Six Flags St Louis). I was nervous getting on it because someone got on the ride with a stuffed bear and as it in the middle of the loop the bear fell out and hit the ground. All I thought was "that could be me" But I had a blast on it. Terrance
