jjune4991
^Did you see who wrote it? TehpoopyAcer. With Robb's picture. I don't think it was a GP, I'm pretty sure it was a troll.
australianalex
Hmmk I think you're right. Its hard to tell a troll from all the GP comments. Without seeing the persons channel I wouldnt be able to tell.  On the same video: This looks just like the freaking Maverick at Cedar Point!! Thumbs up if you think I'm right. I'm not sure, but I thought I saw the Gemini in the back.

CorkscrewFoley
I was watching a POV of green Lantern @SFMM on YouTube, and someone actually put 'this was better when it was at grona lund.' DougMJr
I was at work today and a coworker of mine was talking about how he is too tall to ride Ride of Steel at Darien lake (he's 6'7''). Inversions are nice, though of course we all know a coaster doesn't need inversions to be amazing.
AnonymousReed
The GP always figures that a good roller coaster must have inversions...annoys the crap out of me. Edited January 5, 2012 by AnonymousReed

I tried explaining to a GP once on youtube that rides dont need inversions to be good, and that the Top 10 coasters in the world dont have inversions, but then they just started swearing at me when they realised they were wrong

Let's see...Bizarro and Millie are constant contenders for best steel coaster, and SLCs, various Boomerangs, and American TOGOs suck.  I disapprove. Even my pretty GP-ish family (my dad refers to TTD as "Top Fuel") agrees that inversions do not make a coaster great.
cfc
I understand what you all mean about people constantly equating inversions with "great ride," but people like what they like.

Yes but saying a ride sucks before you've even been on it, simply because it doesnt have inversions, is stupid.

cfc
^^I agree, but I see little sense in arguing with people about it, and I guess I've seen this particular gripe about the GP posted too many times--it has ceased to amuse me.
