ArizonaGuy Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 I've seen this video dozens of times and I don't know why or how I missed that this thing had a 2nd loop. Everything before the midcourse brake looks fun......after then it seems a tad bit slow. Â Hopefully this coaster does appear in another park soon. It would be nice if Six Flags could snatch it up (assuming it gets put up for sale) for one of their parks that hasn't had a new BIG coaster addition in a while.
cfc Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Led Zep was a decent coaster, but the best attraction at Hard Rock Park was Nights in White Satin: The Trip--it was unique and had a good, "fun-house" queue.
PhantomNick Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Led Zep looks like a pretty fun B&M looper overall, and I certainly wouldn't mind seeing it show up at another park. I wonder if there ever has been any interest in the ride by some other park/company?

Riextol Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Looks like a fun ride to me. Maybe someday I will get to ride it in its new location, or if it is sold for scrap, maybe buy something that it was recycled into.

Considering the ride only lasted six years, it certainly didn't take long for the coaster to become a washboard road (then again, so did Son of Beast). Anyway, how was it when it was considered new?
PeggedSole Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 I wonder if Fun Spot America ever considered an S&S Free Fly coaster like Tranan? I can't help but think an S&S Free Fly would have been an even better choice than the Freedom Flyer Vekoma Family Inverted. The apparent low-ish capacity of a Free Fly might not have mattered too much at FSA. The cost of a Free Fly might have been beyond FSA's budget, though. Anyone have a comparison in prices between these two coasters?

Geauga Dog Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 I didn't know much about the Hurricane in Myrtle Beach but that was a longer ride than I expected. CCI must have been cursed as quite a few of their rides are defunct, not even lasting ten years (I do miss Villain which gave great night rides).
