disneymoc
So how long can that coaster sit there unused without any attention before it becomes scrap?
Guy T. Koepp
I thought I read somewhere that they did still employ a maintence staff that is supposed to be keeping the "stuff" in working order.
ArizonaGuy
I've seen this video dozens of times and I don't know why or how I missed that this thing had a 2nd loop. Everything before the midcourse brake looks fun......after then it seems a tad bit slow. Â Hopefully this coaster does appear in another park soon. It would be nice if Six Flags could snatch it up (assuming it gets put up for sale) for one of their parks that hasn't had a new BIG coaster addition in a while. cfc
Led Zep was a decent coaster, but the best attraction at Hard Rock Park was Nights in White Satin: The Trip--it was unique and had a good, "fun-house" queue.
PhantomNick
Led Zep looks like a pretty fun B&M looper overall, and I certainly wouldn't mind seeing it show up at another park. I wonder if there ever has been any interest in the ride by some other park/company?
Guy T. Koepp
Honestly, I think anyone who was interested, is starting to think these rides are poison, and no longer want them. You need to find a real sucker to pawn them off on. Cough... ...Ed Hart... ...Cough!
Riextol
Looks like a fun ride to me. Maybe someday I will get to ride it in its new location, or if it is sold for scrap, maybe buy something that it was recycled into.
robbalvey
Today's TPR Daily April Video - The now defunct Myrtle Beach Hurricane at the Myrtle Beach Pavilion! (Remember this place?) EVERY REPLY YOU MAKE HERE WILL GIVE YOU ONE ENTRY TO WIN A BAG-O-CRAP! Gmaster562
I've always enjoyed the look of those trains!
jray21
I just missed riding that. Oh well, can't do anything about it now!
10ryansmith
Rode that thing twice, you summed it up perfectly: "Were's the chiropractor?!". Was sad to see The Pavilion leave for condos (did those ever materialize?) but that thing need something. Lol.
TyRush
Looks awful! I bet nobody really wishes it wasn't defunct  This is one of the funniest POV's ever! Especially with about 35 sec left

cfc
I just missed riding that. Oh well, can't do anything about it now! Â Looks like you (and I) missed out on a lot of pain. The rest of the park looked nice enough, though.
ozziboy
Without Robb's commentary, that would have been just another old wooden coaster... But hearing his screams of pain as he suffered for his art made it both hilarious and cruel at the same time!
Marcel46
And I thought Bandit at Movie Park was painful. But I can feel the pain on this coaster just by watching the video.
VinTheAttendant
Anyone who rode Hurricane close to opening date, how was it? Considering the ride only lasted six years, it certainly didn't take long for the coaster to become a washboard road (then again, so did Son of Beast). Anyway, how was it when it was considered new? PeggedSole
I wonder if Fun Spot America ever considered an S&S Free Fly coaster like Tranan? I can't help but think an S&S Free Fly would have been an even better choice than the Freedom Flyer Vekoma Family Inverted. The apparent low-ish capacity of a Free Fly might not have mattered too much at FSA. The cost of a Free Fly might have been beyond FSA's budget, though. Anyone have a comparison in prices between these two coasters?
TyRush
But hearing his screams of pain as he suffered Hmm...sounds awkward, but i totally agree that adds to the art of the POV
Geauga Dog
I didn't know much about the Hurricane in Myrtle Beach but that was a longer ride than I expected. CCI must have been cursed as quite a few of their rides are defunct, not even lasting ten years (I do miss Villain which gave great night rides). jjune4991
Well, I'm glad I didn't have to ride that! I love how the camera was interrupted at the last helix.
EPfan1
Led Zeppelin looks insane! Very well themed ride! Isn't Hardrock Park closed now? Â Hurricane must be awesome! A bit rough maybe but it seems to be fun anyway the coaster will be torn down this year right?
