cal1br3tto Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 I haven't heard much about this one, either, but it definitely looks and sounds like it's worth riding.
SharkTums Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 I feel that this one and Kanonen are pretty similar, with Kanonen feeling a bit more powerful. I remember thinking Speed Monster felt really floaty and gentle. Super fun, but not as intense as any of the other Intamin Accelerators.
DJeXeL Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 ^Makes sense. Unfortunately I've only been on the 4 US Intamin Accelerator coasters. Xcelerator holds a special place in my heart because I operated it for 5 years but I would honestly say that Storm Runner's launch is slightly more powerful.
Meteornotes Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 I also preferred Kanonen to this, but they're both fun. dt
gerstlaueringvar Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Only been on TTD and SkyCar. This one looks better than those two Great photos! I prefer this entrance to CP's
SuperShawn Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Can't wait to see this ride and entrance in person.
Hhappy Posted February 11, 2014 Author Posted February 11, 2014 The thing about TPR trips.. There is always something random to do.. Like visit City Museum, do a ropes course or a TPR "GrandPrix" Power park has an awesome track fun for everybody let's do something different some folks don't have a clue regarding driving direction
Hhappy Posted February 12, 2014 Author Posted February 12, 2014 ok, back to coasters.. Desert Race Heide Park
_koppen Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Also a ride a care a lot for. It's very underrated IMO. It's such a shame it got OTSR though.
gerstlaueringvar Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Looks like an amazing coaster. How is this compare to Rita?
cfc Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 It seemed to me that it was bit longer than Rita, but I've heard others say that the layout was pretty much the same. Both are good rides.
Hhappy Posted February 17, 2014 Author Posted February 17, 2014 iSpeed Mirabilandia the things you see during the summer fun fun fun Go Go Go
beatle11 Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Lol, Amazing what you can catch in a split second.
gerstlaueringvar Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Really hope to ride it someday. iSpeed looks like a great mixture of Maverick and Xcelerator. It also has a great reputation judging from Mitch Hawker's result. Great picture! As always.
Nrthwnd Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 I iSpeed > Katun. Sorry but it's true. I do. Thanks for a look again, Hanno.
rcjp Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 I really have to go to Mirabilandia, the only park in the world with two rides on Mitch Hawker's steel poll!!
rcjp Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 ^What annoys me the most is that I have been to Italy, TWICE and not that far from the park (maybe two hours). I just didn't have the "coaster knowledge" back then I have now.
Guy T. Koepp Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 All good rides should try to release tha boobies. They all really just want to be free anyway. Guy "Free tha Boobies!" Koepp
