At what age did you start loving coasters?

At what age did you start to LOVE coasters and become the coaster people you are today? What coaster made the difference? This question is to both of you, unlike most of the topics here that are ONLY to Robb.

4, and i went on a roller coaster taller than 115ft when i was 6 and then i went on a Vekoma Boomerang when i was 6 also and i loved it!....lol, not any more

While I liked some of the smaller coasters before, my wife got me into the big ones at the age of 32....Isn't love grand?

I started loving coasters at the age of 3. I went on Big Thunder, then Go Coaster, then Space Mountain, then Matterhorn. Ever since then, I have loved coasters!

I'd have to say when I dared Dueling Dragons when I was 9, I was terrified at the time, but now I don't find coasters scary at all, bar the first time I rode Oblivion when I was 10.

My first coaster was the Comet at Hershey.

The coaster that made me an enthusiast was Woody Woodpecker at Universal Studios. I was 5 years old then. It was the first coaster I wanted to go on over and over again until they kicked me out of the park.

Which I did. They kicked me out.

 

Now I'm 11, and my track record includes almost 300 rides. My current favorite rides are way higher and much faster, but I still never forget the ride that started it all for me.

Like most things in life it revolved around chasing some girl. I followed this girl onto Greased Lightnin and I fell in love with the ride, I forgot that girls name. I was 13.

I have always been interested in roller coasters, but the one ride that got me to start riding them was Twisted Twins @ SFKK the summer before high school. I still love that ride. It brings back such great memories!
