I found the site back in 2001 or 2002, I don't remember how I found TPR! The first video that I downloaded form the site was the Alton Towers video! And ever since I watched that video I have wanted to ride nemesis and oblivion. I joined the forums back on Feb 15, I'm the 20th member! 8)

I was made aware of this site from westcoaster and i think e-mail because i had ordered some of your dvd's.

I initially heard about you because some" morons" on rrc were whining about your on-ride video's and how you were breaking park rules.

Back in 2004 I was searching for some information on Japanese coasters having been in Japan a few years back and came across a link for your Japan 2004 trip. I remember reading the TR's and thinking how cool it was to get great information and pics while laughing my head off. It's nice to read reviews that aren't all complaints from people that seem to know how to have fun even when things suck. Thanks for all the work you put into this site.

I voted other.

My friend Kelly (he posts on URC) ha your video's and brought them with him during his visit to Pgh. I really liked your song selection and how it was made, so I started visiting the site. More and more. I also heard mega-bad things from enthusiasts I no longer associate myself with . I chose not to believe them, and I have loved this site since.

I was referred here by the good graces of Barry H. He posted a link to his Dania Beach coaster video which I watched and enjoyed, then started downloading every other coaster video on the site. After that I noticed there was a forum on the site so I thought "hmmm, let's check it out!"

Is he still my friend? I guess in a loose sense of the word. I haven't had the pleasure of being in his presence for a few years now. Heck the last time I saw him was pre-transition. So yeah, he's known me from back in the day. haha.

So..does Barry get something for referring me?

I found my way here after pictures of me surfaced on this site. I came to the forums shortly after they opened because I wanted a place to get news and post, and since RRC became troll infested, other sites had too many pop-ups and charges, or I didn't visit the region of the country they focused on enough, I decided this was the perfect place. There's moderation for trolls, no pop-ups, no "only good things about Cedar Point and Holiday World or we'll kill you" and its free, its free, its all free. Plus I can post pictures, giving my TRs more of a fun level (especially for people like Robb who absolutely detest reading).

Allison is still my friend, no matter what she looks like!

what do I get for referring someone? I don't know, but I'm still waiting for my toaster oven from referring people to other sites.

I wanted to show my friend wat Disney World was like since my Holiday Videos are pretty bad, I had saw the videos on some other Disney sites n wondered if anyone had made anymore..So I googled "Videos of Walt Disney World" and Wham Bam Theme Park Review was the first link that came up. I saved the video page in my favourites and came back a few days later to check the rest of the site out. I started 2 read the thread about Robb's trip around the world and decided to join the forum and the rest they say is History! Hehe

Ok, I guess my poll vote is located under "other" so I got to explain myself. Up until March I was a coaster-phobe. Sure I did Space Mountain and Big Thunder at WDW, it was just the big ones that frightened me (I think I had Scorpion-trama when I rode it in the early 80s). Well, I got married in Janurary of 2004 to a wonderful girl who happens to like roller coasters. She even worked at IOA as a part of the ride team for Dueling Dragons. Anyways, my Mom gave us AP passes to WDW this year for an all-inclusive year long present (birthdays, Christmas etc.) Well, this meant I knew I was going to have to try Rock n Rollercoaster at MGM sometime this year. So I went out and gathered all the information I could about this coaster. My research brought me to this site where I was able to find a little information about RnRc, but more importantly found all these other cool pictures and videos of a bunch of other coasters. Well I finally gave RnRc a try and I loved it. Now that its the end of August I went from I think 6 or 7 coasters credits to 46. Not bad for my first year so far. So in a big way this site really helped me to get over my coaster-phobia, now I am hooked. Thanks R & E.

WOW! I post a thread, go away to a meeting for a couple of hours and come back and find 5 pages of stories!!!

These are great! I mean, I started the site about 10 years ago and never really knew who or how often people really visited. (those web ranking things never seen to be accurate)

All I know is that there are a lot of "new" people here that I have never met or heard of before from other sites or organizations (which I think is a GREAT thing) so I'm naturally curious as to how you found us....and most importantly, why you stick around!

I voted I don't remember and wandered in. I remember I was searching through rcdb.com. I was Looking back at there Photographer links and checking out others web sites. It was one of those that I followed a link to yours. Now whether it was Westcoaster, Coaster Fantics or someone else I don't remember. Elissa CA weekend TR was the current one (I think). Was around March of 2001 that I surfed in. Elissa do you still have the Verkoma wheel? I've been in and out of your site for quite some time. then really became a regular reader in 2003. (when I really started planing my cross country trip. Also a regular reader of the fourm but not much of a poster, yet. Keep up the good work Thanks for putting all this together.

That was longer than I thought it would be. DWS

A little over a year ago, I was searching for coaster videos and came across TPR. I liked the pictures and the captions that were posted and when I received the videos, I was hooked on the site. The pictures and the videos that not only Robb posts but everyone else too, are great.

I hate myself... Oh wait thats why I am still here...

No well I found the site searching through some other roller coaster sites... I have this sneaking suspicion that they are now defunct thus it doesn't really pop to mind right now... All I can say is I have been following for quite a few years now casually but I really got into keeping track of your updates like 2 years ago...
