I never really had a bad experience on Hades in 2011 (The only year I went to Mt. Olympus) and the drop into the tunnel plus the tunnel itself was my favorite part. Especially at night!

I also really like Twister 2's tunnel and Tremors' 4 tunnels.

Haven't really been on any coasters with "great" tunnels, but I do think that Demon (SFGAm) has a cool tunnel because of the running lights. The tunnel is my favorite part of Demon. Kraken and Wild Thing have decent tunnels too.

My personal favorite tunnel would have to be Loch Ness Monster from BGW. For me, it single-handedly raised my 3 star grade up to 4. I originally assumed that the interlocking loops would be the only enjoyable part of the 30+ year old ride, but I was very, very wrong.

I'd have to go with the tunnels on Disney's Big Thunder Mountain coasters, mainly for how well they're themed.

Manta at SeaWorld takes the cake for me. It's a very pretty projection and the train rocks back and forth. All are pretty distractions, as it grabs your attention long enough to make you forget that you're about to be launched straight into an ridiculous air-time monster.

Easily the tunnel on Big Dipper at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. It's certainly one of the longest timewise for a woodie!

That one does hit the spot, but I just have this sweet spot for the tunnel on Gold Striker's first drop.

I like Goliath's tunnel at SFMM

I also like the "tunnel" of Krake at Heide Park because you think the teeths slices up your feets, Hands and your Head!!

Gold Striker's cause I was able to lead a couple of enthusiasts behind me in line to believe that I actually thought that it was installed because of bird-related problems.

The three that immediately come to mind-

> the one on Apocalypse at SFMM where you enter going a bit uphill at a pretty good speed and bank hard right

> Bizarro's (NE) final tunnel by the staircase to the rest of the park

> Rye Dragon mouth
