RyanTPM Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 ^You're right, it's not quite a flat turn and does have a slight outward bank. But it's nothing like the banking on an El Loco. Still might provide a good feeling in the outer seats though, so i'm not complaining
gerstlaueringvar Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 I don't know, at this testing phase I feel like the train would've go a bit faster then that.
RollerManic Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 why people still film with the phone vertical though is beyond me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bt9zSfinwFA
Superbatboy Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 I don't know, at this testing phase I feel like the train would've go a bit faster then that. I was thinking the same thing, it's crawling through the course
RCT3Bross Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 About 40 hours and I've ridden that ride. Looks great can't wait  Tell me what you think! I'll post a Review the moment I got access to Internet. I hope Walibi has Wifi.  Wow I'm curious if that will be noticeable on the ride. I mean I heard several stories that a offride doesn't look that impressive but the ride itself is so let's hope Lost Gravity belongs on that list.
gerstlaueringvar Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 I absolutely loved their SnapChat media day coverage! Â And by the way, on SnapChat it's the exact opposite, filming a horizontal video is probably the most obnoxious thing. Lost Gravity's targeting demographic is the SnapChat usergroup so filming vertical video means they are doing the right thing.
Paradox Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Here's a POV which shows the ride going much faster than the Snapchat videos. Â
gerstlaueringvar Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 (edited) So the theme is like an asteroid hit the ground and everything around it starts to lost gravity? Â Dear asteroid, can you hit my GPA? Edited March 25, 2016 by gerstlaueringvar
BDG Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 On-ride with audio, and in 1080p60 too:    And the park itself uploaded this one, which you can watch in 360° and even in VR:  https://www.vrideo.com/watch/bgdM23Cm   .
CaptainChaotika Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Got to Ride Lost Gravity today! Unfortunately only one time, so my opinion might change tomorrow. Â It's a great coaster, not too forceful but it has some good airtime and a very unique and disorienting first drop. The first half is pretty fast, the second rather slow, but it got some great hang time there. I especially liked the roll above the water fountain (which was high enough to reach my hands). The smoothness isn't quite B&M like, but it's getting there. Â I think gerstlaueringvar is right with the theming, but we hit the asteroid, not the asteroid us! Â Yay for first post (after reading this forum for some months)!
Henry M Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Nice! These are the photos I wave wanted to see for a long time. By the expressions on the riders faces, it looks like a fun ride.
PixelRush Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 why people still film with the phone vertical though is beyond me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bt9zSfinwFA I remember when Robb posted this quite a long time ago... my friend and I have our own inside jokes from it now
RyanTPM Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Some really good pictures there, thanks for those, Lost Gravity looks great up close!
RCT3Bross Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Looks great can't wait to ride it tomorrow morning. Â Edit 25-03-2016: I have ridden the coaster. It's extremely fun love the queue with a vibrating stairs and fire (each time a lot of people jumped when they shot the fire into the sky.) The ride itself was great, it seems to me the ride was created with the left wing in mind because that was the better wing in my opinion.
BDG Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Great off-ride footage: Â https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CNpL9mbumk
Dar Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 That's some wicked wiggle on the little air bump after the lift! Â I'd ask how long before the public are screaming for it be torn down ala Lightning Run at Kentucky Kingdom, but I don't think the Dutch care
gerstlaueringvar Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Holy crap that small airtime hill at the beginning shakes pretty violently! The second airtime hill also shakes a lot.
SFOG1991 Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 ^The small bunny hop at 0:42 seconds in the first video shakes a lot. I've never seen that much movement of steel coaster track on a coaster before. I'm sure it's safe but I was still surprised. Â Edit: ^beat me too it! Â The ride looks surprisingly intense though! Pleasantly surprised! The original test on ride video seemed so slow compared to this. Awesome!
RCT3Bross Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 ^ I noticed it too in the park today even I thought it was a little too much, Off-coarse it doesn't scare me off. But yeah it really wiggles a lot.
KBrylczyk Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 ^The small bunny hop at 0:42 seconds in the first video shakes a lot. I've never seen that much movement of steel coaster track on a coaster before. Â You've never seen Xcelerator or Storm Runner (Hershey), eh?
