rckrazy06 Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 I might not be a very active TPR member, or even an active traveler to parks for that matter, but you can definately count me in for this!!
Steelinwood Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 I may be able to do this, but it depends on cost. The perks are amazing though!
boodotstk Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 I stumbled on Theme Park Review back in college while I was looking for inspiration for a project. Ever since, I have come back numerous times to view all the great photos, videos, and humor that is put into this site. Â Club TPR sounds great! And with the awesome-looking Club TPR card, I will get to throw it at people and spread the word. Â -R.
Guy T. Koepp Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 What happened to my original post? Â Meh! Â I'm in! My check is on it's way. Â Guy "I'm really just in it for the cool A$$ lanyard! Oh! And tha chicks. Gotta have the chicks!" Koepp
BrownStreak Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 I can't wait! Just having this card in my wallet will make me FIERCE! Â But you are Blanche, you are!
lazymuse21 Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Oh, I am so on board with this. Can't wait.
coastersrule85 Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 What a great way to end a stressful day at work, finding out about this! Count me in for sure; I can't wait!!! The whole thing sounds even more awesome than I'd have imagined! Â Could you throw in a customized TPR taser for use on line jumpers? ...oh, and maybe an 8 x 10 glossy of Prowler because that'd really make it worth it! J/K
Swiminn6 Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Wow! Those cards came out stunning and I really can't wait to see the full list. I mean you guys are so amazing!
1pizza14 Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 WOW! all those perks thats truely amazing. How did you get all those discounts from all the parks!??
SharkTums Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 ^Hard work! Â Lots of calls, emails, faxes, and explaining what we're all about and how awesome our future members are going to be!
Sue Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 To be honest, I was thinking I wasn't going to join since I already belong to a couple of other coaster clubs. However, after reading just the partial list of benefits, I'm now seriously considering it. It's really sounding like an awesome deal. Thanks for your hard work in putting this together, Robb and Elissa!
nay Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Wow, the card looks great, and the perks sound awesome!!
X2coasterfreak Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 I was a little skeptical about it at first but now it sounds like something I can do. Can't wait until March, defiantly going to become a member of Club TPR!
Em-Z Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 I'm really liking this! At first I wasn't sure because I'm really far away from any of the events and parks available, but the other perks sound awesome too and I'm planning on traveling quite a bit in the next year.
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 I'm glad to hear that this program is running along smoothly. I can't wait to get my membership, maybe as a birthday present (I'll have to do a lot of 'Mommy? Mommy? Mommy?' style begging ).
Josh Linn Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 I was on the fence previously, but after reading about all the perks and benefits, I'm sold. Hopefully PPP will be included in that whole deal.
grinch1313 Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Finally, a coaster club I want to join. Just with the list so far, I can't wait. The membership cards look really great. I can't wait to have it in my wallet. Looking forward to seeing the final list!!
robbalvey Posted February 19, 2010 Author Posted February 19, 2010 I was on the fence previously, but after reading about all the perks and benefits, I'm sold. Hopefully PPP will be included in that whole deal. Â PPP is included, but from what we've been told from Knoebel's, you don't actually have to be a member of any club to go to PPP. We will "promote" it with Club TPR and encourage our Club TPR members to attend the event, but you don't need to be a card carrying member of any club to attend.

I forgot I attended PPP '03 without being a member of any club
lobo_04 Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Wow! Words can't describe what you guys have done! This will be really cool! Let me know if you guys need future ideas for membership promos, etc. This is quite exciting!
atem122 Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 (edited) I'm totally on board!...in a few years. I don't think I'd want to join now since I don't really travel that much. Plus if I asked my parents for money to join the "Roller Coaster Club," I'd probably get a decent laughing at from them. However, the list of benefits is absolutely amazing! One question, if it's not asking too much, how do you get the parks on board with all of this? Edited February 19, 2010 by atem122
robbalvey Posted February 19, 2010 Author Posted February 19, 2010 I just gave away a few more Club TPR tidbits on the Behind The Thrills podcast! Â --Robb
Edward Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Oh, this sounds very fun indeed. I'd like to join, but I'm spending all my money on some silly trip. Â /Edward
NINCUB Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 I am SO excited and almost "giddy"! NO, I AM giddy! :0) I will have this awesome card in my wallet! Maybe after the card, I will actually be able to go on a freakin' TPR trip! WOO! Has anyone told you they love you today, TPR? I LOVE YOU!
Guy T. Koepp Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 But is she still holding the card now?
