matteocrepaldi Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 ^^ Probably it's the same as Raptor but from that photo is hard to tell!
COASTER FREAK 11 Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Id like to know what the actual arm length you'd have to have to come that close to the support. That's really crazy its that close!
SharkTums Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 I've said it before and I'll say it again...as much as it pains me to...this is my most anticipated Wing Rider for next year. Now, that being said, being my most anticipated wing rider is only slightly better than say, my most anticipated visit to the dentist, but I think you see where I'm going with this!
jonnyfingers Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 ^I'd imagine a trip to the dentist will be less painful than queuing for this ride once it opens. Thorpe Park was absolutely packed at times during the summer. Â But really looking forward to The Swarm, I'm quietly confident this will be a good smooth ride!
SharkTums Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 ^Hey at least they'll most likely put it on Fast Track or whatever they're calling the Queue Skipping program this year.
RollerCoasterSmi Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 When I rode Raptor at Gardaland, it had quite alot of "bounce", and that was supposedly a "forceless" B&M. The Swarm looks more intense (and so do the other two wing coasters), so I can imagine you will be able to feel this more on them. Â The one I'm most excited about is Dollywood though, it isn't relying on a gimmicky first drop, but it looks like a good solid layout design without any inline twists (which was my least favourite part of Raptor).
BudtheWeiser Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Whoa the new pic on the developers facebook page of it diving under the planes wing looks awesome I cant wait for this now
griffonj2022 Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Whoa the new pic on the developers facebook page of it diving under the planes wing looks awesome I cant wait for this now  This picture....  Talk about your head and foot chopper!
matteocrepaldi Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Also, from this angle, the last support of the lift hill looks way too close to the track! Can't wait to ride it next year!!!
Skycoastin Steve Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Sometimes I wish I lived in Europe. This is one of those times.
B&MIntaminGCI Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Holy crap, that looks awesome. I cannot wait for this to be completely themed and opened
BudtheWeiser Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 yup thats the one the more I see it the more I think wow
jonnyfingers Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 The themeing looks great. But as planes regularly fly over Thorpe Park I imagine a few passengers will wonder why plane fuselage is on the ground beneath them!
tiger01 Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 About an hours drive from me. So I'll be sure to visit next year.
Ace Of Spades Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 That looks seriously awesome! Wild Eagle and X-Flight, eat your heart out.
Guy T. Koepp Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 I'm told that Dollywood saw these awesome pictures and have decided to add giant wrecked eagle parts that you will fly around and through. However in response, Thorp park contacted the local media and complained that Dollywood was copying them and that they are now calling their theming the Thorp wreckage. Â Guy "Still looks awesome." Koepp
Bryce232 Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 I think the battle between this and X-Flight may have just ended, before X-Flight even went vertical!
Rollercoaster5000 Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Surprised no one has posted a link to the rest of the photos  Can I see a fire-engine Look forward to seeing the rest of the theming .
eddytheviper Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 I'm genuinely impressed by this, could be the most impressive wingrider yet. Â May just have to endure the pain that is the Thorpe Park crowds and go check it out when it's open.
dominoes Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 They should build a play area where you crawl through and climb over smashed cars and stuff...
