UrbanLegend Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 Guys are you sure they're going to have the trains running in time for opening day? I know they're on the track but they haven't been moving at all. Maybe the wheels haven't been made yet?? I think they're way behind schedule!!!!
deathbydinn Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 There are only two cars on the track, how much do you expect them to move?
sfgam#1 Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 I wonder if they're still going to create the hanger element .... It has already been said MANY times. All scenery as planned is still going to be incorporated in the ride. Sorry, I'm to lazy to read the whole form Lol
ilrider Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 I'm more enthusiastic about X-Flight after riding Wild Eagle at Dollywood last weekend--very good I have been happy to read all the positive reviews about Wild Eagle and The Swarm.

spinning man Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Here is the latest shot from the now working webcam. Not a full train yet, but it's getting there.
sfgam#1 Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 ^^ Oh it was .....but like I said I'm very LAZY Lol Anyway SFGAm's twitter is very close to 900 followers so please spread the word if you have a twitter!!!!!
DJeXeL Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 The 2 cars they have on track will most likely be used for a pull-through/envelope testing.
Justice Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 The 2 cars they have on track will most likely be used for a pull-through/envelope testing. B&M doesn't do a pull through test I believe. They have a metal envelope they use for testing but not a car itself.

Jerrykoala2112 Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 I'll probably be buying the dinner season pass, as I go to the park so often. But I'm still waiting for the Flash Pass for food lines
Rollercoaster Rider Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 I'm just gonna drink water. I can't afford to gain more weight.
traincrossin Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 Great America just posted this on Twitter. '@WendyPackard Yes, stay tuned for info on what's new in Hurricane Harbor for 2012! Hint: What flys when your having fun? Anyone else thinking flash pass for Hurricane Harbor? Can't remember if Great America mentioned they were adding it this year.
deathbydinn Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 ^ Hurricane Harbor flash pass was announced at No Coaster Con, but I don't believe it's been publicly announced yet.
Rollercoaster Rider Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 Do Those Flash Passes really work at Waterparks? I see how they would work at theme parks, but Waterparks?
mcjaco Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 I'll probably be buying the dinner season pass, as I go to the park so often. But I'm still waiting for the Flash Pass for food lines Seriously. $60? You can spend that in three meals there. Really good deal from the looks of it.

Don't they know that flies is the plural for fly? Anyway, I'm not sure if I would purchase the dinner pass. Yeah it's a good value but there are better places to eat outside of the park. That's just my opinion though.
Shockwave 88-02 Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 SFGAm are having a season dining pass. There are details on their website.
mcjaco Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 ^ Please read the thread. This is already being discussed.
sfgam#1 Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 There are 7 cars on the track now !!! I think testing might start soon.
spinning man Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 8 cars? I thought X-flight would have 7. The forces on the back seats should be quite forceful, comparing it to the swarm.
